You can bulk apply package settings to all your downloads in WPDM using the Default Values add-on's "Update All" feature. This allows you to modify multiple packages simultaneously instead of editing them individually.

Using the Update All Feature

Each setting in the Default Package Settings section has an "Update All" button that applies that specific setting to all existing packages:

1. Set your desired default value in any field (Version, Link Label, Stock Limit, etc.)
2. Click the "Update All" button next to that field
3. Confirm the action when prompted (this affects all packages)
4. Wait for completion - the system will process all packages automatically

• Version numbers across all downloads
• Download button labels (e.g., "Download Now", "Get File")
• Stock limits and download restrictions
• View and download counts

• User role permissions (who can download)

Bulk Update Security Settings

You can also bulk apply lock options to all packages:

• Password Protection: Set the same password for all downloads
• Email Collection: Require email addresses before downloads
• Social Locks: Apply Facebook like, Twitter follow, or LinkedIn share requirements
• Terms Agreement: Add terms and conditions to all packages
• Captcha Verification: Enable reCAPTCHA on all downloads

Each lock option has its own "Update All" button that applies those security settings across your entire download library.

Custom Field Bulk Updates

Use the Custom Data Update section to:

1. Enter a custom field name (e.g., "category", "author")
2. Enter the field value you want to apply
3. Click "Update All" to apply this custom data to every package

1. Access the Default Values settings in your WPDM admin area
2. Configure the settings you want to apply to all packages
