Hello Andy,
Thank you for your query.
In the upcoming/next update you will be able to add installer files(binary executables) that have no extension by using wildcard (*).
So, till then be patient and spare us some additional time.

Hope you are well.
In the latest version of the WPDM, we have fixed your above-mentioned issue. You can rename your file name like this: FileZilla_3.53.1_macosx-x86.app.tar.bz2 and then try again.
I have made this screencast for you in order to show you my test result.

Hello Martin,
Hope you are well.
If you leave the Allowed file types to upload empty like this then it will allow you to upload all default WordPress allowed file type.
All default accepted file type list can be found here.
Either you can declare the proper file type in the Allowed file types section or you can use the wildcard * instead without any space to allow all default WordPress allowed file types to be uploaded.
If still, the problem exists please share your temporary admin login info in a private reply and we will debug it.

Hi Shawn,
We have found the issue and we will adjust the wildcard(*) issue in the next release.
Wildcard(*) will allow all file types in the next release.
Right now Wildcard(*) is allowing to upload all default WordPress allowed file type.
All default accepted file type list can be found here.

Could you please use the integrated CSV import feature with WPDM PRO instead?
As mentioned here, we are not continuing the add-on, as we have integrated the feature with the core plugin and shall improve it continuously as a core feature.

In our test, we found that the pkg file is downloading properly.
Please check this screencast I hope your problem will be solved. Make sure that you have added the pkg file with out dot(.) and spaces like this.

Page header will not show for WPDM with the Attire theme. But however, It was kept in that way, as the title can be controlled by customizing the WPDM page template using the [title] tag.

Can You please try adding the following to your site’s .htaccess file to get it to work:

Or, you also may contact hosting support.
However, Your server is blocking the HTML data request as well like this. That’s why the saving button kept rolling. It’s working perfectly on other servers. So, if your server keeps blocking the HTML data then the setting will not save and it will keep spinning.

However, you can use the below shortcode instead.

Please use the below shortcode instead and it should work. Don’t add the link-template-button.php in the shortcode.
[wpdm_category id="zip" cols="1" toolbar=0 item_per_page=10 template="link-template-button"]

The issue is not related to WPDM. Your server is blocking the HTML data request. That’s why the saving button kept rolling. It’s working perfectly on other servers. So, if your server keeps blocking the HTML data then the error may appear again in the future update.

Hello Chris,
This type of issue happens due to conflict with other third-party plugins, can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking.
However, the download worked fine whenever we have enabled Unmask Download Link Option. You can follow this as well.
