No such option is available with a single site license, however, please let me know whenever you need to unlock the key to transfer it from staging to live site.
To reinstall/update manually please follow the steps to upgrade:
1. Deactivate and Delete old version

3. Install and activate the latest version
4. Done! ( The process will not harm your old data/settings )

Master download link is working fine now. FYI, only master download link will be able to download premium items directly if you authorize it.
Yes, unfortunately, not seeing any other alternatives. Hardcoded links have to change manually.

Here are the answers to your queries:
1. If files are added as URL ( from local server or remote file ), zip download will not work, as php can’t create zip file from urls.
2. No such option for now, but noted for implementation.
