The issue was happening because your server was not supporting HTML data with POST requests and blocking any POST requests with HTML data. Now I’ve used plain text “Login Required Message:” and “Download Limit Message:” options, and saving settings is working fine.

Don’t worry about them; they are encrypted temporary files. Also, no sensitive data is stored there.

It is private now.

I found a non-ASCII character preceding “title” due to incorrect file encoding while investigating the issue.

For icon fix, add the following CSS in your theme customizer’s custom styles:

You can select WPDM’s color from WPDM’s user interface settings; there, you can select the same color as your theme’s color accent.

If you are using any wpdm add-ons, please update them. If you are using any custom code related to wpdm, you may need to review.

The critical error can be found in the error log file, or you can simply ask your server support. If you can give me the error, I can help you with the resolution; we actually did not make any breaking changes in 7.2.2.

Though I sent you v7.2.1 in an order note, I recommend you stay with the latest version, and I am here to assist you in resolving the issue there.

Use template tag [file_list] for list view as default, [file_list_grid] for grid view as default.

Please update to WPDM PRO 7.2.0, it is now again older php version compatible, but we recommend to upgrade server’s php version to latest to get the best performance.

which php version are you using there?
