yes, wpdm right and probably best compatible solution for you, but still may need 3-4 hours of customization.
that option is not active there still now, but will be included from next version (coming within next 10 days)
it could be something with your server or data base or other plugin conflict, try deactivating other plugins. deactivate and reactivate wpdm again.

as it packed now, wpdm pro collect email addresses (only email, not name or other info) without creating wp user and you can export email and import those to mailchimp, salesforce or other crm system. But if want name too, we can do that but will require custom upgrade if you need urgent, otherwise we will add “Name” besides email with next update (next update coming within 2 weeks).

you need to delete the option “_fm_categories” from “wp_options” table manually for now to reset categories

I’m sorry for the delay. We were having trouble with old forum (problem with the 3rd party forum plugin we were using) and sometimes we failed to keep track on support questions. So we moved to phpBB and moving all old topics to phpBB.
