Hello

Hope you can answer my question. Thanks in advance for the help.

Here is what I am looking to do

I write a blog. Within the blog I want to embed a link that is a download to the full version of the article. The person would then provide their name and e mail address and they can download the document. There will be a different document in each of the blog posts , which will be done weekly I want to track which all of the documents that a single user downloaded, as well as all of the users that downloaded a specific document.

When they provide their name and address, does it create a wordpress users? Can I get this information over to mail chimp and salesforce, our CRM system? Once they login, I assume they can download everything they want?

Looking forward to your answers.

Hi,
as it packed now, wpdm pro collect email addresses (only email, not name or other info) without creating wp user and you can export email and import those to mailchimp, salesforce or other crm system. But if want name too, we can do that but will require custom upgrade if you need urgent, otherwise we will add “Name” besides email with next update (next update coming within 2 weeks).

Can it be used with gravity forms add on registration> Meaning can you specify the link for registration in the download button?

Thanks

Hello

I spent the last day going through ths and think I have the sequence figured. Wanted to to see if this was possible:

1.) User goes to a blog post. The summary is there . but in that is a link to a PDF with more information
2.) If the user is logged in, then they can click the link ( already in your program)
3.) If the user is already a subscriber, then they can login and the download link will be active now) ( already in your program)
4.) If they are not a subscriber, they will need to go to a gravity form ( can we load it in ajax?) to register and it then logs them in.

Is there a way to embed the gravity form into your software so that they can register on the same page and not have to go back to do the download?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Great…will that version also have the ability to tell me what packages each subscriber has downloaded?

Ok I see you have the download all set. A couple of questions.

1.) When a user is not logged in, can you click and redirect them to a gravity forms registration page, rather than the wordpress page, or better still opo up a form via ajax?

2.) DO you need the pro version to see what subscriber downloaded which files?

Thanks in advance for the help!
