Hello,
So basically all the packages on my website are supposed to be available to all users (no need to log in). When I create a package or a category, I check “Authorize access to : all users”.
Unfortunately, it seems that the download button is working only for logged-in users and on mobile for all users, but on desktop it isn’t.
You can check for yourself here : https://gipmaore.yt/download/vade-mecum-pour-une-utilisation-efficiente-et-responsable-des-subventions/Could you help me fix that please ?
Many thanks in advance.
Topic: Download Link
hello, I want to ask, why when downloading from my website is detected by chrome as a dangerous file?
When we are adding preview images via CSV import they are displaying correctly, however we are finding the WP media library is filling up with duplicate images (many of our downloads use the same preview image).
For example, if we have referenced a preview image 100 times in the CSV for different downloads then we are now seeing that image 100 times in the media library even though they all link to the same image as there (only one file for the image exists in /uploads).
This is causing issues when trying to use the media library.
Is it possible to show only one instance of the image to the media library please even if it is used as the preview for multiple files?
Hi.
I am using the following shortcode and it is working, but I’d like the table to show all the files in the package rather than just the zip file. I have ticked the enable single file download button in the package settings but that didn’t make any difference.
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" categories="2020-board-papers" jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Download::155px"]
Can you point me in the right direction please?
Thanks
Hello,
How to hidden the second dowload box?

Topic: Invalid File ID or File Name
I have been using the WP Download Manager for quite some time now and after some updates were done, I am now getting the “Invalid File ID or File Name” error when clicking on my download link. I can’t figure out what is causing the error. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Topic: getMasterDownloadURL
I’m still using version 5.3.7 because I get a fatal WordPress error when I try to upgrade to version 6xx. I finally had time to attempt to figure out what’s going on and it looks like this code I use in a page template file to display Download Manager links is no longer supported: $link = \WPDM\Package::getMasterDownloadURL($post->ID);
Can you please tell me what to replace that with? Thanks!
Hi, can you provide a link to any documentation about how to use “All Downloads Table”?
Or can you write one if it is still missing (I can find nothing, except an old blog post that does not even mention All Downloads Table).
I have already seen your DEMO, but I need some explanation about all different options for the table.My problem is when testing the table it does not show any files. Only an empty table with columns and the text “Total X items found” (X depending on what category i choose to filter). So I want to start by reading if I have done everything the right way.
Questions, for example:
Do I need to change something in Download settings to make it work (for example I have WPDM Archive Page disabled, do i have to enable it for the table to work maybe?)When inserting a new All Downloads Table to a page there is an “empty” column without title already from start, but I see I can also add my own columns. What is the difference, what is the empty column supposed to show? Should I delete that after inserting my own choosen columns??
If I do NOT choose any “Include categories” under Queries, will it by default show ALL files in ALL categories to visitors? Or nothing?
What is “Category match” refering to, what does it do?
What is the differens between enabled or disabled “Asynchronous Request”? What does it do?
Important: I use User Role Editor to restrict some of the files and categories to different user groups. If I insert this table so everyone can see it, even without being logged in, can I be sure those restricted files and categories will be hidden as they should. And only visible if you are logged in at a proper user level/group?
Topic: Unable to download files
Good morning,
I have created two packages, each with a single file.
On a simple page, I have created several combinations of package listings (using wpdm_archive_compact or wpdm_packages shortcodes) and even though they present the package lists, when I try to download the files they always fail (404 not found). The link is always http://xxxxx/wpdmdl/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/originalfilenameThank you,
