ok i understand but it doesn’t work, it only allows one download for guests, my configuration is to reset download in 1 day and it’s been 3 days and the download button didn’t appear again and the countdown timer never reaches zero, I think when there are 12 hours left for the countdown timer to reach zero it appears again that there are 1 day and 12 hours left for me to download again
The download button for guests doesn’t appear, it only appears when you click on reset downloads for everyone

Hello,
as you can see in the Screenshot I have a Problem with download Limit Addon.
All Users “Abonnent” can download 1 File per day. It works if the User has a Forum Role “Teilnehmer”. But if the User has no Forum Role then the User can download “Unlimited” This is not correct.
Download Limit addon should only look at User Role not Forum Role. Can you change it?
Or you can change everywhere where is nothing in Forum Role you can edit it to “Teilnehmer” with a bulk code. Manually it is not possible because I have over 60000 Users.
Thanks a lot.
Regards from Germay
Hey Nayeem,
I’m afraid maybe we aren’t talking about the same issue. This is in regards to the Download Limits plugin, not downloads on the package itself. Are you activating that plugin for your testing? Currently it is deactivated as it isn’t working correctly at all, so I have to test with it outside of business hours. Please if you haven’t clicked through these examples, check them out as they are extremely helpful in understanding what is happening:
No, it worked mate, I’m going to keep using version 2.6.7
Is there any way I can reset guest user downloads? I already tried replacing “all” “guest” with “guests” and it doesn’t work
$(‘body’).on(‘click’, ‘#__rle’, function () {
$(this).attr(‘disabled’, ‘disabled’).html(‘<i class=”fa fa-sun fa-spin”></i>’);
var $this = $(this);
$.post(ajaxurl, {action: ‘wpdm_reset_user_download_limit’, user: ‘all’}, function () {
$this.html(‘<i class=”fa fa-check-double”></i> Done’);
Help
No, I checked and it is still not working. I didn’t take the time to document what is happening because it is the same as what I’ve already spent time documenting. If you haven’t taken the time to click through these, they would be very helpful in understanding the issue.
There’s no need to create new test packages as this is occurring sitewide on all packages. The issue is actually multiplied when switching between packages. That’s when it seems to count multiple times. Once downloading the same pacakage back-to-back, those seem to count as one download, but moving between packages will count anywhere from 2-4 downloads.
Hi Nayeem,
Thank you, I did exactly as you suggested and disabled all other plugins and switched the template.
Disabling the other plugins didn’t help fix the issue, but the template switch did.
You can see my test on the staging version of the website here:
Test Page for Downloads (Delete Later)
Unfortunately, the template needs to be the most up-to-date version. That is the version that is causing the incompatibility with the Download Manager. Could you please offer any information or insight on what we could do to continue using both the newest version of Download Manager Pro and the website template?
Thank you!

Hi there,
I am experiencing a problem with my company website downloads. For some reason, you can’t really get the download up on your phone when using the Google Chrome browser (It works fine when using Safari for instance). Please have you got any advice? It looks like the download takes place but you can’t actually see it on your phone.
Many thanks in advance,
Trine

I seem to have found a solution here ► https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/downloads-stalling-and-failing-to-complete/
I deactivated the download resumption and the exit delay and I increased the download speed…
So far it’s working on my 3 browsers…

Hi,
This is a fantastic plugin. Thank you for making this for all of us.
I have searched this question on this FAQ pages, so far I couldn’t find one. But if this question exists, please accept my apology.
Is it possible to make all downloads available to Guest? So they don’t need to login or register to download the files.
Thank you so much in advance.
Regards,
Bianev

And for disallowing crawling by the Search Engine. You can Mask Download Link
, If you mask the download link, bots will not be able the find any public download link easily. You are able to find this setting from Downloads > Settings> Basic Settings

And another way for making disallow Crawling Download Manager Pages on Google, Bing + search engines is, Add the following code at the end of your active theme’s functions.php

Hello,
Our CEO was wondering why downloads were not included in the WordPress search. I checked and saw that the “Eclude from search” option was not activated. So the downloads should actually be listed. Is this a bug with the current WordPress version 6.6.1 or what are we doing wrong?
Kind regards
Lucas
Hi
# Issue 1: I have implemented BOX.COM on my Download Manager plugin, and it is working fine. However, I want the file to be downloaded directly from my website. Currently, it redirects me to BOX.COM, where I can then download the file. Instead, I want the file to download directly from the website, like the other downloads I have added through the dashboard.
# Issue 2: I want all files from a specific folder on BOX.COM to be automatically listed on my website whenever I upload a file to that folder.
