First of all, make sure that you are using the latest version of the WPDM Plugin and related add-ons.

Hope you are well.
According to the latest update of WPDM PRO, you also need to update the other add-ons as well. Please update them, or you can download them from here.
You can restrict download by editing a package and setting Allow Access located under Package Settings section like this.
I hope it will work fine then. If it doesn’t work, please, give your temporary wp-admin login details in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.

Hope you are well. And sorry for the inconvenience. We have released the latest version 6.0.5 of the WPDM PRO plugin and add-ons. According to the latest update of WPDM PRO, you also need to update the other add-ons as well. Please update them, or you can download them from here.
However, yes we are working on the updater and hopefully, it will be fixed in the future update.

No update doesn’t require additional cost. If you have active validity then you will get it free from the Premium Download area which is the latest one. Please download and install, it’s the correct file. Then let us know that it’s version 6.0.5 or not.
Also, please open a separate forum topic in the future by describing your issues propelrly. So, that we can debug and give you a better solution ASAP.

However, in my inspection, I found that you are using the WPDM Free version.
In order to enable the Email lock feature, you have to use the WPDM Pro.
If you have purchased the WPDM Pro already, then you can download the latest version from here.

Auto-update sometimes fails due to auth error or server file permission issue.
First of all login in using yrshaik@gmail.com email address.
After the login simply visit Premium Download Area and if you have validity then you will be able to download the latest version of the WPDM pro.

Sorry for the delay.
In version 6.0.0 of the WPDM Pro, we have Rebuilt the codebase from the ground.
So, the template file override procedure has been changed as well.
Please follow the below link/procedure and then customize your email-lock-form.php file accordingly.

Changing Template Files in /plugins/download-manager/src/{ComponentDir}/views/ ( Download Manager Plugin ) dir:
Create a dir named download-manager inside  your active theme dir
Now copy the files you want to modify from /src/{ComponentDir}/views dir to /{active-theme}/download-manager/ dir.
Customize template file(s) in {active-theme}/download-manager dir as per your need

I just checked and everything is working fine without breaking. Maybe you should clear your browser and website/caching plugin cache.

Also, you are still using the older version of the WPDM Pro. Please update it to the latest version which is right now 6.0.5 or you can download it from here as well.

We are happy to say that we will add the Order By option in the next plugin update.
However, in the meantime, you can use the Packages module by following this.
Also, about the Select Dir Area issue please update your WPDM Pro to the latest version which is right now 6.0.5.

For some reason JetPack is not letting me login. Have a look at this. Please, disable it for now so that I can login and take a close look at the issue.
Or you can use this humayon@w3eden.com email in the associated account instead.
Also, in the meantime please try after disabling the WPDM plugin if the page is still broken or not.
