WPDM is very new to me so I would appreciate some direction with the design of a page that lists about 260 packages.
Below is the code I used for for the first 3 groups of files on the page. Below that is the template code.Each file is a separate package. This was the only way I seem to be able to tag a version (date) to individual files.
It all works but it takes about 10-12 seconds to render the page. I’ve gotten the “tabbed card” template to work, but there’s a problem where, if you click on the “Package Info” tab of any card, it opens the “package info” tab of (only) the first card on the page. Is it possible to edit the files somewhere to remove the tabs entirely? I don’t think we need them for our purposes. As a largely unrelated question, is it possible to somewhere change the text of all download buttons to be the same? In a previous version of this plugin (we updated recently, and I suspect that a previous developer had added some custom code which has been overwritten) the file name was hidden, and we used the download link/button to have the file name. Now that the file names are again visible, I’d like to change the button to simply say “Download” without having to manually update our 600+ file entries. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I have a series of issues. I just recently purchased the Special pack, and have been testing on our test site, so that I can update the live site. Some issues seem to be related to the plugin for which I keep hoping the updates would resolve but they haven’t. Sending emails for support has resulted in non responses. Presently both the test and live site are updated to version 5.2.6. Here are a list of issues I’ve been experiencing:
1. Since the updates, at one point my plugin deleted itself and I quickly had to reinstall and reconfigure the shortcode file. I’m not sure why the plugin uninstalled by it self.
2. both live and test site have the same versions and themes, yet one site displays better than the other. For instance the widget link template has a shading in the back for the test site, and no shading in the live site. The spacing between each download package varies between both sites. Copying the code for the template from one site to the other doesn’t resolve the issue. Same thing occurs on the archive page, selecting the template for the archive page works, but it looks one way on one site and another way on the next site.
3. since the 5.2.6 update I’m no long able to clone or create templates. The process starts but it doesn’t allow me to save. Clicking save template doesn’t result in anything. If I don’t give it a template name it would only then indicate “Please fill out this field” other than that nothing happens.
4. since the 5.2.5 update, changing the template id in the shortcode section no longer changes to the layout on the frontend. The template remains as the default template, however changing the number of columns work.
5.Seems like someone made an error in the templates feature, as the New template title shows up initially as “enter an tmeplate name”. This appears on both sites.
I have deleted the plugin and reinstalled it directly from the download area of wpdm download manager from the order I got, this hasn’t resolved the issues.
6. I’d like to find out how to keep the wpdm login page separate from that standard wordpress login page. This plugin changes the login process of the whole site.
7. [wpdm_packages] shortcode with toolbar enabled, doesn’t show up if a side bar is there. Template no longer changing. Only change that can be made is the icons and the number of columns.
8. [wpdm_packages paging="1" orderby="date" order="desc" items_per_page="10" template="procurement_template_2020" cols=1 colspad=1 colsphone=1] shortcode does not display well, has it’s own font, cuts off description, buttons and fields over lap, too much spacing between pages.
I upgraded this plugin so that we can start using the uploader feature of this plugin. To make it somewhat of a dropbox for frontend users to submit packages for review. But all the pre-existing issues have delayed me in completing this task. Lastly, there should be a way to search these forums for folks with similar issues, however I’ve come to realize that it is pointless because the only solutions provided are usually manually resolved by support getting a temporary access to your site or private responses.- Two types of downloads: one for all logged in users, one for customers only (specified by user roles)
- The downloads are managed by “WPDM Packages by Category” widgets
- The link template is customized as shown below
- The purpose is to immediately start the download (downloads for all) or after accepting the conditions (dld for customers), with no additional template showing that has a “Prev” and “Next” button that would lead to packages that are not supposed to be visible for the category of users
Here follows the template code. The [download_link_extended] does all the above, generates the word “Download” marked as link and also reacting like a link should react on mouse click – only the download is not starting, like the link goes to nowhere.

I am using the short-code [wpdm-all-packages] to display downloads available to registered users. It works perfectly except for one problem.
Our audience is “Over 50’s” with many people coming to look for material well into their ’70s and ’80s. Sadly for many of us, getting older brings with it failing eyesight. Our problem is that the fonts used in this short code are VERY small, especially the second (post_content) line. We are already getting complaints from people about how hard this is to read.
I have tried other short codes but this one sorts properly at startup and allows me to display all the information needed by our members to decide which material they want.
Is there any way I can increase the font (several options would be brilliant) for this short-code or is there some way that the short-code can be modified to add a font size option

Okay, I got it now, you are facing the issue with the login link, due to the css classes

Hi,
I think I may not have explained my issue properly.
The link template that is applied to all downloads by default (the global default setting) is link template ‘A’ let’s say. I would like to change the global default to template ‘B’, a different template, so that it will universally apply across my site.

All given downloads don’t work since I downloaded the given WordPress Download Manager (the old download plugin couldn’t be updated anymore). If I click on the download-button, there’s just a download of a “download-not-available.txt” – all previous linked documents aren’t linked anymore.
