Hi @wpdj30,
Hope you are well.
First of all, make sure that the template is located underDashbaord>Downloads>Templatesand you have selected the corresponding template in the Elementor block.
If, still the problem exists then visitDashboard>Downloads>Templates>Link & Page templatetabs.
Hopefully, your problem will be solved.
Thank YouHello WPDM,
Thank you for all you do. People don’t say it enough. Your work is valuable to us all!Regarding accordion addon…
GOAL:
1 – Display packages belonging to several categories.
2 – Package titles display as accordion bar.
3 – Click open title bar to expand accordion.
4 – Expanded accordion displays entire package (description, single file downloads & buttons, Download All button, package size).ISSUE:
#4 is only displaying the the Download All button with the link template. If I use Metro link template, the details button opens in the same window. I’d rather show all details right away. How can this be done?I looked at the other 9 free templates, but to download each without an example is very time consuming.
Please help, and thank you in advance. In reply to: Issue with Category Restrictions

Here is the Category shortcode. You will find other shortcodes here.
But as you are using TinyMCE add-on for now just change the
item_per_pagetoitems_per_page. Our developer team working on it, soon this little problem will ne solved. Thanks

For at least the last week I’ve bene unable to attach any dropbox files to my downloads. I have the necessary paid plugin and it has always worked without issue. Now when I try to create a new download I can go through all the steps to attach the DB file but nothing every actually attaches.
I tried disabling all plugins but the ones for download manager to rule out a conflict but the files just won’t attach.
Hi @thehawkman,
You can select a specific category for all the similar topic files, then use this shortcode and add that category slug on the shortcode. You can add those names in the title. I think, it will look like what are you looking for.
Thank you
Let’s say I have a file with multiple versions. Take this one for instance. http://multicommander.com/downloads
It has a 64 bit installer, a 32 bit installer, then two portable versions of the installers. So that means 4 different files, with potentially different file sizes. Is it possible to set a different title for each download button linking to each file? As in have the button linking to the 32 bit portable version be called as such? Or do I need to create four individual packages for each of the version mentioned above? Since each file will have its own size, I would probably be forced to create separate entries, unless there is a way to list multiple file sizes on a single package?

I have checked all of my plugins. No conflict to be found.
I’m not sure what you checked when you were in my site – but it’s the template that isn’t working. I created a new template without the download_link_extended and I can get that one to work in preview as well as on my live site after clearing the cache. It must’ve happened with the new update to 6.0.6? I didn’t have this problem until then.
Here’s the problem – I do NOT want to switch my template for all 250 downloads. What can we do to fix this?In reply to: Lazy download plugin not working after WPDM update
Allright, the “Use Global” setting works! Thanks!
One more thing: I noticed that the Progress bar is missing from the Waiting Page (https://clearskies.eu/csog/downloads/downloading/) is missing.
In reply to: Lazy download plugin not working after WPDM update
You can reproduce the issue by yourself by clicking any of the download buttons on the page I provided the link to. The same goes for any other download page and buttons. I will not make a screen recording of something you can do yourself by means of a single mouse click.
Here is the link to a package (the top one, nr. 33 on the page I linked to): https://clearskies.eu/csog-downloads/dsf-ootw-21-33download/
The lazy download plugin should lead to this waiting page: https://clearskies.eu/csog/downloads/downloading/
Instead, the download starts immediately. Has something perhaps changed in the required shortcode that is required on the waiting page?As stated, all was well until I updated WPDM.
Hi,
A few days ago I updated WPDM to the latest version. That caused Lazy Download to disappear from the settings menu. I removed the Lazy Download plugin (deactivated and deleted from the server) and reinstalled the latest version. While it did appear again in the settings menu, the plugin is not doing anything. Downloads are not “lazy” but download immediately. For example, on this page of my website: https://clearskies.eu/csog/downloads/dsfootw/
The plugin is set to Enable Lazy Download and the individual downloads are set to either Enable or Global. Neither setting for the downloads make a difference, nor does toggling the settings from enabled to disabled and back.
What I suspect is the problem, is that the redirection to the set Waiting Page is just not happening.
Looking forward to your solution.

Hallo, thank you very much. I have now changed it as described and updated the plugin. Now it shows me the downloads 🙂
The font is now bigger and the button smaller than before. Is the a chance to change it?
Thank you for your great support!

MartinHi I would like to do a mass update on all downloads by changing the following option. We have activated the e-mail lock with the “Mail Download Link” on all downloads. We would like to change from “Mail Download Link” to “Instantly Download”.
Could you please tell us a database query to be able to update this option? In reply to: Email Lock Submit Button Not Working
Hello @chesayscheryl,
I see email lock and download is working fine. Please check this screencast.
Also, please check now categories are fetching properly, as the shortcode was not correct. However, please keep the parameter valueitems_per_page="15". But, if you want to set more value on that parameter then you have to increase your server memory limit or the page might not save/ will crash.
Shortcode details can be found in the below link.

Hi Humayon,
All of my add-ons were updated before I opened this ticket.
I am having this problem on all of my packages but here is a URL for reference: https://www.thatswhatchesaid.net/free-rainbow-svg-files/
Also, my categories are not pulling up either as this page is supposed to pull a category and display and you can see it is blank: https://www.thatswhatchesaid.net/printable-downloads/
I will send login information as well as password for the password-protected page so you can see what I am talking about in the next comment.
Thanks

Hi @fscedfu,
Please update your WPDM Pro to the latest version6.0.6first and then use the updated shortcode mentioned in the below link. As you can see template parameter should be link-template ID and make sure it exists underDownloads ► Templates.
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_category-query-all-downloads-from-one-or-more-categories/
Please check this and it’s working fine.

Good evening Download Manager Gurus!
I am new to WordPress/Download Manager; my only website coding experience is from a lifetime ago doing basic HTML. Therefore, I have some working knowledge, albeit, I feel as though I’ve forgotten more than I can recall.
Anyways, I am hoping to find some assistance with understanding and correcting why the responsive table I have inserted using the short-code is not pulling the downloads I have ready to go: [wpdm_all_packages login=1 thumb=1 items_per_page="20" categories="slug1,slug2,..." jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]
If I go to the various pages with the downloads I’ve uploaded directly, everything looks okay; I think. See an example here: https://rectherapy.ca/?wpdmpro=tree-of-life-expressive-art-activity
Any guidance, with compassion for my slow uptake of this new information, would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
The page I need help with: https://rectherapy.ca/?page_id=345
Thank you in advance!

How do we change “Downloads” to be called and shown as “Packages” throughout the website front-end (e.g. archive page & search) and back-end menus (e.g. sidebar custom post type menu)? I can see where to change the URL base but we want it to show throughout the website in the text and also in the admin not just the URL.
Many thanks

Hi @fscedfu,
No, I haven’t change anything yet.
After the update please Go toDownloads>templatesthen visit all tabs there.
It should solve your issue. If it does not then please share a link where the5cbda6187abge.phpis appearing.
Thank you
