If it is your page template, then you can remove it by customizing the related template from Downloads > Templates also you can remove it by editing related PHP file from plugins > download-manager > tpls > link-templates/page-templates

do you want PDF thumbnail in the attach dir also, I have seen that in your page template pdf thumbnail tag is not included, however, For now, you may also use Select Files option only, we shall try to adjust it for your requirements also
