Which happens when PHP version in your server is very very old, you will need at least php5.4 to run wpdm.

We accidentally set it as a default icon in the last update, however, we have removed it now and it will be okay from next update.
When you check the option “Enable Password Lock”, you must have to add a password for that package. Add a package password where you enabled the option, then you will be able to see image button properly.

It seems like you’re using v3, the latest version is v4.6.3, which is downloadable from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/purchases/, but v3 – v4 migration is a bit tricky, however steps are explained here:

The feature seems like out of wpdm scope, however, we shall think about that 😀
