i didn’t find the way to do it…

Our client wants to share the links to specific downloads so that they can put the link on other sites. So when a user clicks on the link on another site it immediately triggers the download. How do we do this?

Please check, I have added the appearance of similar_downloads template tag code file this directory, active-theme > download-manager > link-templates > link-template-panel.php. It will also be kept as a backup file for the plugin update, also you will be able to modify the appearance of similar_downloads template tag. Please kindly check and let me know.

Also, can that page be added to the side menu in the Downloads screen? Else, login and see their profile and downloads… and search. But the link to this search page, is not there.
Can it be simply added to it??

well I thought those settings are only for the Detail page of the download? So I am wrong?
The link template here is “Call to action 4”
And the page template is some we have edited years ago “new page template”
I want to show the visitors that there are more than one image in a package on the category page. So I will have to edit the “new page template” to edit the category layout? Really?

Hope you are well. Thanks for writing to us. For removing download counter, you have to customize your package link/page template. Please check which template you are using from your package settings and go to Downloads > Templates section, then you can create a new template or also able to clone the existing templates , from template editor remove [download_count] template tag. Please kindly check and let me know, if you have any queries more.

Hi,
I used the previous version of WPDM + WPStamper to offer my students a download link to a PDF with watermark (email).
Now I see in the updated version that
1) all individual PDF files I uploaded to offer a single link to the user has been converted into packages.
2) the file download is not working because I have to select a Root for each package/file.
3) If I select the root where the PDFs uploaded were uploaded at first (they are all at /download-manager-files) all those 173 individual PDF files can be downloaded from every link as a ZIP file!
I need to create a download link with a unique PDF file to be stamped with the user email.
Could you please help me?

download-manager/src/Package/PackageController.php
Where I change some words, such as the text that appears on the button, as well as the names of the categories, etc
Is there no other convenient way?

You are not using Downloads > Categories > Single Category, you are using [wpdm_all_packages] shortcode, you can customize the shortcode appearance following this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/. You can use cols="title" instead of cols="page_link". Please kindly check and let me know.

Yes, that is the Template ID for one of our Link Templates under Downloads > Templates.
I don’t know if this helps or not, but this was working with no change for a long time, the only that changed were updates to plugins, not sure if it was the update to Download Manager or we are thinking possibly, ACF?
Sorry, I checked again and it looks like I bought this extension WPDM Directory Add-on Pro License.

How come?
