@rbsamyn, Some categories were not showing there, as you selected Hide Everything
for the option When user is not allowed to download:
. I’ve changed it to Only Block Download Link
and all categories are showing now.

The option resides in Downloads > Settings > Basic > File download > Unmask Download Link
Thanks.
Is there a way to have MP3 files autoplay when a user clicks on a link and the page loads? Currently, the page loads with the download information along with a download button and a play button but we need the file to autoplay when the page loads. Thank you for helping.

Just to add to this. Seems like the download link is not sent to the email address. I have check many different packages did not received any email.
Hello, thanks for this link. Now the new version solved the problem when unregistered user tried to download the email lock package, but created another one.
In the previous versions when the user has logged into his account, he was able to download the email lock package without the question for providing the email address (as he already logged in). This does not seem to work in the newest version of the plugin.
Now when user login to his account and try to download the email lock package he needs to provide his name and email address.
To summarize, when unregistered user try to download the email lock package he should be asked to enter email address, and download link should be sent to him – This is ok now.
When a registered user who logged in to his account try to download email locked package, I believe he should have a download button displayed without asking for his name and email again as it was in the previous versions. – This does not work correctly.
Hi,
When lock option is enabled, you can’t use [download_url]
tag in the link/page template, as for locked packaged [download_url]
tag will only return #
, as download URL only generated dynamically after the package is unlocked. Please user [download_link]
tag instead of <a href='[download_url]'>[link_label]</a>
I am using the [download_link] tag in my template and this shortcode to generate my downloads:
[wpdm_category id="categoryone" cols="1" order_by="id" toolbar="0" desc="0" item_per_page="10" template="5de95d7f19824"]
The button doesn’t work anymore with the latest updates. Is there something that changed that I need to correct or is this a bug?
Thanks.
This still doesn’t work at all. Here’s what I need you to do to see how it doesn’t work:
1) Go to https://birlacarbon.staging.wpengine.com/technical-research-papers/
2) Click the plus sign next to “Carbon Black Fundamental Studies”
3) Click the download button next to “Lock Options Test Document”
4) Note that the page simply opens a new tab and reloads the same page in that tab.
This document has the email lock enabled. We do not use the download pages for the individual documents, which might work for the test document you created, but doesn’t work for our usage of the download button in the Link Template.
Please advise on how to resolve this.
Thanks!

Hi,
The [download_link] does not work after the program update.
[download_link] in Link Template and page Template are not working. So the compressed zip file is not created.
well, I can see your problem still exists. Please give me a few moment. I’m checking it. there could be an issue with the download button link
Is it possible to “Link” downloads together, like a related products feature. I have one file available in 3 formats, so I would like to display all three format download buttons on one download page.

@Shahjada
problem resolved with selecting “unmask download link”
thank you
So I just tried to follow this…and it isn’t working for me.
This is my page: https://evergreenmaids.com/employee-resources/sds, I’m using the shortcode of [wpdm-all-packages].
In my theme, I created the new directories and copied the files and updated the [download_link]. Here are some screenshots:
Structure: https://s.grcwk.co/P8ue9jkg
Page Template: https://s.grcwk.co/o0uveBEP
Link Template: https://s.grcwk.co/6qu2r7Qn
What did I miss here? I am using the Pro version.
A month ago all downloads were working. In the past two weeks, three out of twelve downloads do not have complete download links.
A functioning link looks like https://irch.com/subscription-downloads/#pkg_7749_5ef23f1762790
The problem links look like https://irch.com/subscription-downloads/#
The downloads were using the FTP function. I relocated the FTP downloads to the public_html/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files directory.
I recreated a download page for a problem download and the incomplete download link condition continues.
Please let me know if additional information is needed. Thank you and I appreciate your help with this.
