Topic: Optional email capture
Hello. We are looking to allow for download of PDFs but with an optional email capture. We want something where underneath the form where the person enters in their name and email, there is a direct download link.
Is this possible? Thanks.
I got an email about my Download Manager expiring soon and a button to click to renew. When i click the button, it takes me to my dashboard but nowhere to renew the subscription.

Yes, the URL is correct, if you have selected theMask Download linkoption.
Anyway, are you still facing any issues while downloading directly?
As the website you have shared is asking for a password like this.

Thank you for this info. In my situation, I am using a short-code widget within Elementor:

Any thoughts on what might not be correct in what I’m doing in this case?

Greetings for the day.
In order to achieve instant download functionality without going to a separate page, you have to edit the page related link-templates and then use[download_link]instead of the[page_link]template tag.

I have a files section on our website that uses the accordion widget to display our files and file directories. This is working great.
I would like to make the linked file instantly downloadable from there and instead of loading a separate page. Is this possible, I can’t seem to find an option to do this in settings.

I’ve a few of questions I’m hoping I can get an answer for!
1. With the ready to use templates are some of these paid? I prefer the “Panel 1/3” or “3 Columns, Detailed” template but cant see that option? It’d be a nice edit to mention free/pro next to each template if that’s the case!
2. Do you know if hCaptcha support will ever be added? Prefer it over reCAPTCHA and other elements of the site uses hCaptcha so will match + hCaptcha earns site owners $ money.
3. When clicking the “DOWNLOAD” button the modal pops up with my custom T&Cs > checking to agree > verify captcha > instead of clicking the download button that appears after captcha it’s redirecting me to the link of the file on Mega.nz instead of downloading? If forcing download isn’t possible with URL any method to open new tab instead of redirect?
I’ve to use mega for the file due to the format isn’t allowed and although I’ve added it to the “allowed file types to upload” via Settings > Basic it doesn’t work. On the “SELECT FILE” it lets me select it but then wont actually upload/attach the file.
4. I’m using the “Call to Action 3” template. However, the modal login form is slightly broken, is this WP:DM issue or my templates? reCAPTCHA goes slightly outside the window.

Hello,
In order to render the PDF to the browser, you can use theSingle Column with Doc Previewpage template.
However, if you add the pdf from the media library and unmask download links, they could be indexed by google.

I have WPForms installed on my website. But I don’t see all my WP Forms under the Form Lock option. I see only 5 forms in the drop down. How can I access the other forms that are linked with downloads?
After inputting the shortcode to display our downloads, I noticed the tags weren’t showing up correctly. The tags were being pulled from our Modern Events Calendar list of tags instead of the download tags. We weren’t using the ME tags, so I deleted them, hoping the correct tags would show up in the sidebar filter. Now, no tags appear in the Tags box, even when I disabled the ME Calendar plugin.
