Hi Shahjada, our host says our site can handle the downloads, so I will not be using AS3 after all. (Just a side note, very glad to see you in support!)
So I want this logo: https://marketingforyoursalon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Logo-M4YS1.png
Not this one: https://marketingforyoursalon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Logo-M4YS-Symbol1.png
There is a problem with this setting –> downloads -> settings -> Frontend access -> Login page. It resets the logo to this one: https://marketingforyoursalon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Logo-M4YS-Symbol1.png but I’ve set this one in the short code https://marketingforyoursalon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Logo-M4YS1.png
I really hope you understand now. Can you see the logo changing in the video when i set the page to the login page?

please check this option Downloads > Settings > License
option if there correct license or not and save settings again. Then try again to update. It will work then, I have already updated your plugin
otherwise only for the add-on,
you can follow one of these steps for now,
1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download the latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.
thanks
Hello, in the packages managment (downloads/all packages) in the backend i’d like to have direct download-links for either the package itself or its contained files. Can you please help me to achieve that.
Kind Regards
Andreas Leinberger
Hi, the updates are still failing with error message: The package coud not be installed. The package contains no files.
It tried the recommendation from last time which was:
“If update fails like this you just have to logout and login again from Downloads > Settings > Updates tab.”
This doesn’t do anything as it seems to think there is nothing to update. The free add-ons are up to date and there are no purchased add-ons showing even though I should be on the Pro package.
Please help thanks.
I reinstalled the latest version of WPDM and disabled all other non-esential plugins (WPDM, S3. The problem persisted. I have now rolled back to WPDM v5.2.4 and stats are working again for the newest downloads. I’m not getting any stats for downloads prior this latest rollback to v5.2.4.

Instead of a single package search feature, you can use the search feature for multiple packages, like this shortcode, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/, please let me know if it helps you

We’ve had many issues with the membership plugin. We have since moved away from wordpress.com hosting as we were getting critical errors. Since we moved hosting, I’ve upgraded the membership plugin to the latest version. Prior to this upgrade, the membership plan selection in the Download Files Allowed Access was not working. It would only work if you had subscriber as the role. When selecting Free Plan as the role access, it doesn’t work. Since the upgrade, it still is not working properly. It only works if Subscriber role is selected and not Free Plan. I need to make sure that these roles are working properly and they are not. If they purchase the free plan, they should get the Free Plan role (which they do) but the file downloads don’t work as it gives an Access Denied button. Can this please get fixed asap?

Hi,
For both categories common downloads package, you can use this shortcode, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_packages-wp_query-in-a-shortcode-for-download-manager-packages/, here you will find a parameter called operator (string) ► ‘IN’, ‘AND’
, I think this will help you
thanks
Downloads all work, but download stats are not tracking any longer, that would be since DL Manager v5.2.5 or 5.2.6 – I’m not sure which.

hi,
please check now, it is ok or not, https://jenx.fentidev.co.uk/distributor-portal/media-area/atom-media, i have adjusted from plugins > download-manager > tpls > wpdm-all-downloads.php
file. if you want to back-up the file for the next update, you can also follow this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/
thanks
Thanks for the hint, but I must admit that I am not able to follow it! Because basically this is what I was looking for without any success before I posted my question here.
“Basic settings”: Do you mean the “Settings” that you find directly in the main menu? Anyway, I cannot find any download related point in any of the submenus
“Settings” submenu in the “Downloads” main menu? Same thing
Any other location?
I would be happy if you could specify slightly more!
Best regards,
Cornelis
Hi,
Use the follwing plugin to migrate old tags to new wpdm tags:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/cqznl8kywl5qa5z/wpdm-tag-importer.zip?dl=0
Install and activate the plugin, then go to Admin Menu ► Downloads ► Settings ► Migrate Tags tab
, click on migrate tags button.

- Two types of downloads: one for all logged in users, one for customers only (specified by user roles)
- The downloads are managed by “WPDM Packages by Category” widgets
- The link template is customized as shown below
- The purpose is to immediately start the download (downloads for all) or after accepting the conditions (dld for customers), with no additional template showing that has a “Prev” and “Next” button that would lead to packages that are not supposed to be visible for the category of users
Here follows the template code. The [download_link_extended] does all the above, generates the word “Download” marked as link and also reacting like a link should react on mouse click – only the download is not starting, like the link goes to nowhere.
<style>
.app_name {
color: #0000c0;
font-family: sans-serif;
font-size: larger;
font-weight: lighter;
}
.company_name {
color: #408080;
font-family: sans-serif;
}
.ptitle {color: #408080; fint-size: xx-large; }
</style>
<div class="panel panel-default">
<div class="panel-body">
<div class="media">
<div class="pull-left">[icon]</div>
<div class="media-body"><strong class="ptitle">[title]</strong>
[description]
<div><strong>[download_link_extended]</strong></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="panel-footer">[file_size]</div>
</div>
For showing all categories and downloads on a single page with different styles, you can use this add-on, and you will also able to customize the link-templates for using in that shortcode,
WPDM Directory Add-on
and for elementor, you can use this add-on,
Elementor Addons
please let me know further if you need more help,
thanks
