Why do you even think we want to sell anything?! I did not mention this in one word. In opposite, I made clear that the downloads are for free! -> “The downloads are for free, user just have to agree on terms before they can download files in the file cart.”
On our website (only available for registered/logged in users) user can download files FOR FREE. At the moment without any terms to agree before the download. This is the only thing we want to change now! User must have to agree on terms before they can download anything. That can be solved by your “Lock options”, described in this documentation.
We added the lock setting as described in our download files but the checkout settings is missing in the privacy tab! So the popup is not showing up when user download files. The only difference to the documentation is that we have the Add-on WPDM – File Cart.
I hope you get finally, what we need. The problem is very clear described inclusive screenshots.

1) how do I actually get the page setup that lists them all? I’m sure it is with a shortcode, but different versions? You have a very smart way of doing it.
2) Removal of files: let’s say the client sees a PDF that was never meant to be in the Downloads list. How does she remove it from the Downloads list?

We are using this plugin for two reasons:
1) to uplaod Docs and assign them to users.
2) to create a new Downloads page for ALL people logged in or out, to access newsletter PDFs. So I need to be able to select “all PDFs” and then “all DOCs” to import into the library.
How do I do this please?

We are currently experiencing an issue with the Download Manager’s statistics feature regarding Unique Downloads. It appears that the filter function is not operating as expected, resulting in an inability to obtain accurate counts for unique downloads when the filter is applied. We have identified two specific scenarios in which this issue arises:
Scenario 1:
Upon applying the unique download filter, the download count fails to update accordingly. For example, if the total downloads for the month of January 2024 are recorded as 845, applying the unique download filter still displays the count as 845, rather than reflecting the accurate unique download count.
Scenario 2:
Exporting to CSV: When attempting to export all download data to a CSV file, all records are exported successfully. However, when applying the unique downloads filter before exporting, only 40 records are exported, which does not represent the entirety of unique downloads.
We kindly request your attention to this matter as we are unable to gather the necessary data accurately through the Download Manager. Your prompt investigation and resolution would be greatly appreciated.

Documents do not open in a new tab like in Chrome or Edge, but are downloaded directly. In addition, FireFox marks “Failed” even though the file is downloaded. It also downloads a .PART file. In short, it’s not terrible at all! Can you help me ?

If you don’t want to show that page, you can create a new link template
1. From Downloads > Templates page, you will see CREATE LINK TEMPLATE in the top right corner click on it ,here is the screenshot.
2. Just put this code in the HTML section, provide a appropriate Template Name, ID

OK, i understand the solution – the page will still exist but access is denied. I can achieve the same result by creating a blank page template and applying it to all the downloads, hopefully the combination of removing packages from search and the blank template will solve the problem.

Each of those packages has a post created for it, which I want to completely hide from the visitor or ideally not have created in the first place – e.g. https://www.mesothelioma.uk.com/downloads/best-supportive-care/ – i don’t want this post to be visible to any visitor.

I am using WPDM Accordion in Download Manager Pro. My understanding is that the Accordion sorting option only sorts the packages listed within the Accordion’s categories but it doesn’t sort the category titles or subcategory titles themselves. I am aware that I can manually sort the parent category titles by changing their order in the shortcode as seen in this example:

For some reason, the Accordion subcategory titles are always listed in alphabetical order. Is there a way to automatically display the Accordion subcategory titles by descending or ascending published date? We offer video and audio downloads. The videos are all within subcategories so I have a need for subcategory titles to be sorted by published date so that users can quickly see the newest or oldest video and audio downloads just by looking at the subcategories. With the subcategories sorted alphabetically the way they are now, they have to open all of the subcategories first in order to determine which downloads are the newest. I have attached a graphic so that you better understand my request.

Hope you are well. Thanks for writing to us. For updating the WPDM PRO plugin, Please simply click the Save Settings again for the license key option from Downloads > Settings > License, and then please update the plugin from the wp-admin > plugins panel.
For saving settings again for the license key option from Downloads -> Settings -> License, that will regenerate the access token. Thus the plugin will be updated, hope that, it will solve your issue.
If still, the problem persists then you can also manually update the plugin by downloading it from your purchase page, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases.
