Default value is coming from WPDM Default Values add-on, that is why there is no default value in your download settings.
Unfortunately, you can’t set page template for all the packages using default values add-on.
The only way is to create a custom page template and save it in your child theme, like this your-child-theme/single-wpdmpro.php.
I was asking whether there is any translation plugin, such as Loco Translate, which allows you to easily translate strings directly from the WordPress dashboard.
If you prefer to upload the translation files manually, please upload them to the following location:
/wp-content/languages/plugins/download-manager-de_DE.po
/wp-content/languages/plugins/download-manager-de_DE.mo
Let me know, how it goes.
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
Which translation plugin are you using to manage the translations?
Also let us know if you are saving the translation file in this location: download-manager/languages/
Looking forward to your reply.

You can try WPDM Page Template add-on, which will allow you to apply page type templates ( like full width page, a page with left sidebar, … depending on your theme ) for wpdm pro package details page.
This is how the meta box will appear in package settings.

Unfortunately, we do not offer a lifetime license. As you know, all of our plugins and add-ons are available on a yearly subscription basis.

Currently, the download count is displayed without comma separators. We have noted this and include proper formatting in a future update.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
We introduced improvements to the front-end UI in version 3.3.47. Could you please share the URL where you are encountering the CSS issue?
Please note that if you applied custom CSS directly, it may be affected after an update. We recommend keeping your custom CSS saved separately, or using templating, which is the best and safest option to avoid losing customizations during updates.
Looking forward to your response.

Packages:
The easy way to do it is uploading separate PDFs for each language.
Example:
English PDF → English package
German PDF → German package
French PDF → French package
This way WPML will know which Package belongs to which language.
Categories and tag:
You can also organize your files by language using categories and tags. Simply add all English files to an English category, German files to a German category, Italian files to an Italian category, and so on. This way, all files are neatly grouped under their respective language specific categories and tags.
If you want to display downloads per language using categories, you can use Download Manager category shortcode for individual categories. For example:
Display the German category to show all German packages
Display the Italian category to show all Italian packages
By placing the appropriate category shortcode on each language page, only the packages belonging to that language’s category will be displayed. This ensures that German pages show German files, Italian pages show Italian files, and so on.
Could you please explain this part we cannot limit PDF downloads by language. It will help us to assist you accordingly.
Regarding translation, Download Manager and all of its add-ons are fully translation ready. Many of our users successfully use WPML, Loco Translate, and other popular translation plugins. Please let us know exactly what kind of difficulties you are facing with categories and tags translation.
Looking forward to your response.
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
WP Download Manager uses custom post type (wpdmpro), which can be translated using WPML. Taxonomies, such as categories and tags, can also be translated.
– Find Taxonomy Translation in the wpml settings.
– Locate Download Categories and Download Tags.
– Add translations for each category and tag as needed.
This ensures that both downloads and their associated taxonomies are properly displayed in each language. WPML documentation
Let me know how it goes.

If it’s working fine now, then the allowed file types setting was likely the reason.
