So basically the main difference is that you can lock whole package using the lock options and you can select different passwords for different attached files using the attached files password option.

Sorry to hear about the issue. However, Lazy download addon works in this way. Visitor will be unable to preview file as he need to download. Mainly lazy download is used for showing ads in the waiting page. That is the reason it forces visitors to download without previewing files.

Sorry to hear about the issue. I think you have misunderstood the feature.
Direct download button will not work for another visitor as it has security reasons.
Visitor has to input password when he will click the download button and if someone wants to share download link, he has to share the download package link like http://localhost.com/downloads/testmovie/

If you use list downloads using shortcodes, then you have to input password before clicking download too.

Got the issue.
The “/” signified that the file is in a directory since you selected only directory.
However, if you don’t select directory, it will be removed.
There is a section below the directory section where you can upload files.
If you upload files, you won’t see any “/” since it will get direct file without directory.

I have tested it and found that It is working fine in our testing environment. Also I dont find the reason of the issue in your screenshots.
Could you please tell me the version of wpdm and wpdm-archive-page you are using?
I would suggest to update wpdm and the addon to the latest version which are 6.1.6 and 4.4.4 respectively.
I hope it will work.

To edit placeholder, You have to modify ..\plugins\wpdm-archive-page\src\Templates\Starter\views\header.php
here in line 11 there is placeholder="<?php echo __('Search', 'wpdm-archive-page'); ?>" id="src"> change the ‘Search’ text from this line to your desired one.

Please follow the below steps to edit a template file so that the new update doesn’t erase your changes and you will also be able to edit the placeholder

Create a dir path download-manager/wpdm-archive-page/**** inside your active theme directory if it is already not there. Here replace **** with Starter,,
Copy header.php file what you need to modify. You simply need to change Search text in the php file and save it, then it will exist even if wpdm directory addon is updated.

However, sometimes cache plugin causes the issue. In this case I would suggest to clear the cache and deactivate cache plugin and check if the issue still persists,
If still the issue persists, you can check for other plugin conflicts. Just deactivate and other plugins except wpdm and premium package then activate one by one and check if the issue persists.
Also I found that you are using double download manager, just delete all and re install it from add plugin.
