..\wp-content\plugins\download-manager\src\Widgets\Categories.php
then make the false into true and save the file.

Remember that if wpdm updates, then this change will be removed and you need to make the change again.

If you face any issue with the file browser root, you can change the location. Also the below button will make it default.

What I found that the file browser has access only to the selected folder and child folders of it. File root browser logic has been updated with our latest version that is the reason of the changes. However, I would suggest to keep the files in the selected folder or childe folders in it(lower level) instead of parent folder(higher level), that will solve the issue.

Link templates are mainly built to use our template tags .
Link template will not support Javascript codes. You can use any additional images in it via html but it may break too.

To show ads, you can use our below addon with wpdm. It will show a page before starting download for a select amount of time. There you will be able to show ads.

I have checked it carefully.

You are talking about the My downloads page http://loewen-development.de/downloads/?udb_page=my-downloads. I have tested it and it works as expected.
Actually it is a private download area which is integrated as a feature of WPDM Advanced Access Control. Even if you deactivate that addon My Downloads section will be removed.
In this section, downloads will be available if member is selected

So role based access permission is available with Download manager pro but individual member can be added only with advanced access control and my download is the private section for that.

Also for the wpdm categories issue, I tried to find related page but haven’t found any page. if you send me the page link by reproducing the issue, I would be happy to inspect and give you a solution for that.

The popup is being controlled from footer.php . If input checked="checked" then the related post type will be selected. So you can move it up or just replacing the checked will solve the issue.

However, I would always suggest to use child theme for any change of codes. Otherwise the changes will be removed.

Please make sure you are using minimum version 7.4 where 8.0 is the recommended of PHP . Sometimes PHP cause the issues.
Also make sure you have updated wpdm and all of its addons to the latest version.

I am sorry, I am not clear about the issue you are talking about. The wpdm is working properly as it should. If you have multiple user specific download packages, you can also set specific access to wpdm category.

Also please share the related url to check the widget issue.

To show My Downloads tab in the user dashboard, you have to use the below addon with wpdm

Advanced Access Control

It enables the feature to select specific user for specific downloads. My downloads tab is to show the available downloads to that user.
