I am sorry currently it is not possible.

Zip file can be downloaded from a package. But all files in the package will be downloaded as zip. There is no option to select by visitor. You can make different packages with selected files. That will be the best option. Also if you enable single file download, visitor will be able to download attached files one by one.
However, you can request for this in the feature request section.

I have checked it. but I dont see deactivate option to all the plugins. I would suggest you to deactivate other plugins except the plugins related to WPDM. Check the issue and then activate one by one.
In this way you will identify the plugin which is causing the conflict.

Make sure that WPDM and all add-ons you are using of WPDM are in the latest version. If you can’t update it directry from WordPress dashboard, Please update from here.

You can select a specific category for all the similar topic files, then use this shortcode and add that category slug on the shortcode. You can add those names in the title. I think, it will look like what are you looking for.

[wpdm_tree] generates a tree view of all categories and packages, if you want to use it for a specific category, then: [wpdm_tree category="category-slug"], for direct download link use additional parameter download_link=1. Use cat_orderby (‘name’, ‘slug’, ‘term_group’, ‘term_id’, ‘id’, ‘description’, ‘parent’) and cat_order ( asc, desc) parameter for sorting categories. You can also set orderby ( title, date, modified ) and order ( asc, desc) parameter for packages inside a category folder, user parameter newwin=1 if you want to open a package or download-link in a new window.
