At the year 2014 wpdm moved to custom post type and needed to migrated data and change shortcode after update to work download manager properly. Please follow the instructions here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/required-actions-after-you-update-to-v2-7-from-v2-6/ to migrate data.

Hi,
In WPDM Pro v4.7.4, we added a feature to keep the download request by email pending approval and you can manually verify the emails and approve and decline the request. As, in regular double opt-in, people still can use disposable email and download your package.

Hi,

I found 2 plans in your site:

  • Annual Subscription which controls wpdm category access ” Premium”
  • 6 Month Subscription which controls wpdm category access ” Premium”

And for the package Testing 2 2 categories Literacy and Premium are selected, now, wp pro membership roles override wpdm’s native allow access field. So, as category Premium is selected for the package Testing 2 only Annual Subscription and 6 Month Subscription subscribers will be able to download the item. But if you want to keep it public, please do not select any membership plans or a category where any membership plan is associated. in case of Testing 2 you have to uncheck Premium category to make the package publicly accessible.

Please let me know if it is still not clear to you.

FYI, a new update of WP Pro Membership add-on is coming within next 3-4 days, where we are using native WordPress API to manage roles/membership plans, which will totally simplify the plugin usage.

Hi,

You were not doing anything wrong, the issue was with your server, the original lineicon css file had ?-fvbane after the file name, like url('fonts/linecons.woff?-fvbane'), which was working fine everywhere else except in your server, so I just removed ?-fvbane and it is working fine in your server now.

The line icon files already exist in your server ( https://www.educateoutside.com/wp-content/themes/prime/fonts/icons/fonts/linecons.woff ) even though they are showing 404 error, please give me FTP access to wp-contents dir to check the issue in details, in the meantime, I’m setting up the theme for you.

Actually, you attached the file as an URL, wpdm simply redirect to that URL when someone clicks on download link:

So, if the attach URL doesn’t work wpdm has nothing to do there, you simply need to reattach proper file URL and use the server file browser with wpdm pro to attach a file.
