I have checked your template issue, I think for getting multiple templates after upgradation, it can be a database issue too. you can simply keep the required two templates and delete the rest of them which are not necessary. Thus it may get resolves

Yes, it is possible. you can create a single-wpdmpro.php file in your theme directory and taxonomy-{taxonomy}.php file like taxonomy-wpdmcategory.php for WPDM categories, And from Apprearance> Widgets you can add WPDM widgets for related registered sidebar. please let me know if it helps you and you can also elaborate on your query.

I have checked that, view button doesn’t open in a new window. But there may have been a conflict with the Avada theme and Fusion builder for watching the PDF in the same window. Have you checked those plugin settings or you may contact their support too? please let me know then

I have checked that, Paypal Client ID(Sandbox) and Client Secret(Sandbox) is empty from Payment Methods Configuration. can you please check this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/using-premium-package/setting-up-paypal-smart-button-for-premium-packages-digital-ecommerce-plugin/, and adjust it thereby.
