For the libs folder, you have to back up the files manually for the next update, you can store the files in your local storage/local PC. Those are core files. I hope you have understood now.

Hope you are well. The zip file option is already in the WPDM PRO version. When you have a multi-file package, and a user downloads the package,  it creates a zip from the attached files and downloads it. And from your additional requirements, various zip files with group,  it may need a customization/feature request for you. I hope you have understood.
