View count may vary for the same active user means when any new user comes to the package page, but stays on the site for some time, he also downloads the package multiple times, the download count increases but for the same session for that user view count is counted as one. Ok, I have got the issue. Can you please check individual purchase history too? If the total of individual purchases mismatches with statictis dashboard total there maybe an issue with the calculating system. please check and let me know.

Hope you are well. For updating WPDM add-ons, please download your plugin from here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases,
And update manually from the wp-admin dashboard Plugins > Add New option. I hope, thus it will resolve your issue. For the Download > Settings > Updates option will not work properly for some server settings. Ad use the latest shortcode format from here for working properly, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-directory-add-on/. please check and let me know, if you have any queries.

For customizing [file_list] part design you may have to customize the core PHP file wp-content\plugins\download-manager\src\Package\FileList.php from here. Find here the callback function for [file_list]. And this wpdm_package_files filter hook is now deprecated. You have to also backup this file in your local drive for the next update. please check and let me know, if you have any queries.
