Hope you are well. And sorry for the inconvenience. The download button being blocked means the ad-blocker detection is working correctly, but the message not appearing is a separate display issue.
Please try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Open your browser’s Developer Console (F12 → Console tab) and look for any JavaScript errors when the page loads or when you click the download button
2. Clear your cache – Browser cache or a caching plugin may be serving old JavaScript files
3. Try a different browser – This will help determine if it’s a browser-specific issue
For site administrators, you can also:
– Go to Download Manager → Settings → Basic Settings
– Scroll to the “Ad-blocker Settings” section
– Ensure you have entered a custom message in the “Notice Message” field
If the issue persists, please share:
– Your browser and version
– Any JavaScript errors from the console
– A screenshot of the page when you click the download button

Moreover, I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. You can disable one by one other plugins for testing if there any conflicts. you may also switch theme to another for checking. The modal is coming from our testing site, can you please clear site cache and try again. And for email lock any other pages, posts if you want to use, you can use the below code in your link template, and use the link template id in your package shortcode that comes from Downloads > All Packages Embed column, then use the shortcode in your page or posts editor,
