You can not edit the metadata directly as the data is in serialized format.
But you can edit it programmatically. You have to prepare the array then serialise the data and then finally save it.

We are sorry to say that currently there is no hook in order to add links after the about section yet. ​But it’s a great idea. I have forwarded your request to our core development team and we may add it in a future release.
However, in the meantime please use the below hook in order to show something after a message.
