I have a pro version and have an issue with the cats taxonomy use

I wanted a single cat taxonomy used through the site and used Taxopress to set my cats for all the post types. In all my post types it works as expected except for WPDM…..there is the cats listing under the WPDM menu that list all my catergory entries however the elements such as the ‘package’ one does not see this tax? It has no entries. (this would be because it is looking for the inherent WPDM cats tax) so how do I change this as I already set my preferred tax to the WPDM post type?

Hi,
That’s not an issue related to wpdm, you may need to contact the other plugin or theme dev.

Hello @thetech1admin!2,
Are you using the packages block and have you selected a category here?
Your above-mentioned login credentials are not working.
Thanks.

Hi @martindelange,
Please follow the below link in order to create your own template.

Template Files

You can follow this as well.
After creating your own template you can use it in Elementor by following this.
However, about the small graphics issue at the bottom with the file metadata, it seems that you are using an Elementor divider/separator. So just remove it and it will be removed. Also, in order to add discrete elements to your Elementor template please use this module.
Thank you

WPDM doesn’t specifically provide any element dynamic content element yet. But, you can design custom page templates ( the area inside your red box ) using wpdm page templates ( https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/ ). WPDM elementor add-on only provides wpdm shortcodes as elementor module.

That is a real pity and a huge shortcoming that DM does not offer an element to list package post info governed by the link template as the elementor pro post does this somehow with a default template (the only issue is I cannot style it or remove the graphic at the bottom)

Is there some way I can use the shortcode to render the package post text + file list only?

I will look into the template method although it seems quite involved with some risk.
