Hello @akotherm_hompage, sorry for the confusion, you can’t use single site license key in more than once installation, if you want to use the key in dev site, you need to unlink it from main site first, what we explained here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/settings/license/ in 3rd screenshot.

Sometimes, you may need to move your license to a different domain, like development to production, in such cases, you can remove the linked domain to use the key with a new domain.

Password lock works fine with single file download, however, if you want to remove package download button, you need to remove [download_link] tag from page template.

Sorry for the confusion, package_dir can’t be created with API, if you want to attach package dir, it needs to be preexisted dir with files, you may do that using ftp.

However, when wpdm store package dir path in db it stores in encrypts the path. However, we shall adjust it with the next update of the rest api.

Also, in average, number of support topic everyday, is actually less than 3 percent of new subscribers everyday.
