v2.7.1 fixed broken html, if password popup doesn’t work, it is conflict with your theme or plugin plugin js. I need check it in your installation, anyone having password issue, please give me login info here in a private reply. Thanks.

for individual user selection you will need http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-access-control/ which is only available for admin side only. As allowing access to user list from front-end could be a security/privacy issue.

Sorry for all this trouble, but we did the update for making the plugin stable and secure, v2.6 was 3 years old code.

becuase fatal error is showing in theme path.

please go to Admin Menu Downloads Settings Migrate Tab to migrate data from v2.6 to v2.7.

Matter is some of them were using it for a long time with full satisfaction and never came here to tell a good work but in first chance of trouble, they opened an account at wp.org and wrote a long bad even without asking for support. What we tried in v2.7 to make the plugin more stable and secure.
