You just have to put the button code in the “Login Required Message:” option. Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply if you need help with that.
Assign the ‘Subscriber’ role as ‘Allow Access’ option in package settings meta box. And then set a custom message in “Login Required Message:” option in the “Basic Settings” page. Logged in subscribers will see the download button and non-logged user will see the message. You can set anything in the message, it could be another button too which links to the login url.
About 2 weeks ago we log the individual download links that were on a Package Page. The “Download Package” is still available, however we can no longer download the package contents individually. I have attached screenshots of our settings.
How do we show the links to the download files in the front-end. We are using the table shortcode, and when we hover over a download button, it’s just showing the page path with a hash tag “www.site.com/download/#” but we want the downloads to show the full url “www.site.com/download/book.pdf”
We have tried unmasking the downloads but they are still no showing the full url.
Where does it say full? In the package details page? The limit works fine in my case. My limit was exceeded on the other day. Today I was able to download again.
Not clear. Please send me the package link where you experienced this issue.
Default Values are being set properly when creating a new package. Why do you think it is not working?
Your global lazy download was disabled and you were using the global option. That’s why it didn’t work. I have activated the lazy download globally. Now it will work for all packages unless you disable lazy download from package settings.
Where is the picture? Maybe you forgot to attach it.
I will try my best to solve all the issues you are facing. Most of these are related to settings. As you new user you do not have the knowledge of all options in the plugin.
From the beginning of the day until now, I have received 46 letters reflecting the situation that my website cannot be downloaded .
+ WPDM – Download Limits : Pre-installed is 1 day reset 1 time People download 8 times of the first day. the next day they did not download it and reported that they had downloaded 8 times, and the next day …. still full. does that mean WPDM – Download your Limits doesn’t work well . it doesn’t work at all
+ old links when updating or editing. they failed to download
+ WPDM – Default Values when you applied this function to all files downloaded they work well, but when creating new download files, WPDM – Default Values does not work with the new file. up leads to confusion
+ lazy download function does not work
+ Another problem is software code. as shown in the picture. they appear randomly and keep refreshing or reloading the error disappears
+ also in my opinion. If you know, it will happen. I would rather use WDM free or wd moniter.that’s what i think best
by respect. I will be very grateful if you fix them and help me. Because so many people are annoyed because they can’t download files
Hi,
How to make:
1. Download only to subscribers, but the download button is always displayed on the download page. When a visitor clicks the download button, I get the information that the download is only for subscribers.
2. How do I display the last entries on the main page? Currently I am displaying blog entries via the following code:
Hi,
In the last update, there was some major upgrade on the link/page templates. However, you can change the link template for that shortcode using TinyMCE shortcode generator add-on:
The download button that appears when the user is redirected to the guest order page ( without clicking the “Proceed” button ) does have an issue. We will fix it in next version.
The issue that happens after clicking “Proceed” is originated from caching. But not from the cache plugin. I tested this after deactivating your cache plugin. The download works when I clear the browser cache of this URL https://marketyourcraft.com/?wpdmdl=11332&oid=5cfb714b83814 ( The “Download link is expired” notice page )
If you have any server level caching settings try deactivating it. I see an option to flush cache from Managed WordPress menu in admin bar. This cache must be coming from the server option.
Could someone explain to me how I could click on the order link sent in an email, 5 test transactions ago, could produce an order details page with the current order ID and downloads? When I try it that way, I’m able to download the most recent order. Please see the attached screenshot. I’m trying to figure out if this is a caching issue. Can’t find how the order/cart is stored (cookie or some other means) so that I can make changes to settings in WP-Rocket to “never cache.” I’ve tried never caching /orders/, /cart/, and /cancel/ which seemed to help. But I’ve never been able to place an order and download in the same session from the order details page – always produces a “download link is expired” message. Only able to download in the scenario above, some time after the initial sale.
Both sets of credentials are still valid if you’d like to go in and take a look. Basically I need to understand why so much of these transactions is being stored or cached, I think that might be the solution to why I keep getting expired link messages. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Just to test whether there was a conflict with any of my site plugins or the child theme, I started a new secured site with only the WPDM plugins and pages enough to test the guest orders. In that scenario, the “Download link is expired” message also pops up, which leads me to believe it’s an issue with the guest orders. I used the default settings from the plugin installs. I will send you login information in a separate note so you and your team can troubleshoot a fresh install of the latest plugins on a completely barebones site. I’m going to try and revert back to the last version of both Download Manager and Premium Packages that worked for me (last year).
