popup is not working because of some js conflict. However I removed the popup and embed the option ( using [download_link_extended] ) and it is working fine now.

I can not start downloading file, I logged in as administrator level.

* I try to get full path of the downloading file to make sure that it point to the correct path, but I found only api that return a file name.

I’m using WPDM with the Form before Download add-on. I like the plugin and the process, but I want the subscribers to go directly to my Customer Relationship Manager software instead of being stored in the subscribers area. I need to know what’s happening with the information from the form. Is it emailing, or storing in the database? If it is in the database. what is the table? I can handle the programming from there.
Also, is there a way to use the Form before download and emial lock? Ideally I’d like them to get an email with a link after filling out the form, rather than get the download directly. That way I can confirm the email as real.

After updating to the new version of Download Manager Pro, the thumbnails on my main download page (http://postpartumprogress.org/tools/) are no longer working. There should be a thumbnail photo of each downloadable to the left of the subscriber area — there used to be — but the photos disappeared and now there are only links.

I don’t know if this is a conflict with my theme (Elegant Themes Divi), but on the category page I can click through to the individual file’s page and download files (most are email protected). On the /downloads page, the Download link was originally popping up a little box to enter email and name directly on that page, but it now doesn’t do anything (actually the page floats down as if the box has been drawn, but nothing is visible).
In “Inspect Elements” I see an error saying that chrome blocked the extension because “Resources must be listed in the web_accessible_resources manifest key in order to be loaded by pages outside the extension.”
So, is this a security issue? A problem with a setting at the WordPress level? Something that needs to be addressed in the theme?

in download manager settings, If i enable option “Show Only Login Form Instead of Login Required Message”; It starts showing a login form on page template, Which was my intention to implement But could you please help me in finding an option for enabling a register link on same login form, Correctly it is not visible there. although I have enabled option “Anyone can register” in General Setting panel in my WordPress back-end. But still that register link or button cant be seen in that login form. Looking forward your continuous support.Regards

Yeah so there are many issues right now.
First I installed the Box add-on. Added a file from Box, put a shortcode in one my posts. The file size appears as 0 kb. But the file downloads normally. Then after an hour or so, Box gives “The link you’re trying to access can’t be used to share files. Please ask the file owner to provide you with a shared link instead.” when the file has “Allow Downloading” as Yes.
Then I tried the Google Drive Explorer. Still the file size is 0kb. But the file downloads normally. Also why can’t I see the folder structure in Drive Explorer? I have some 500 files in there. And having to go through so many files to find one, when they are not even sorted in alphabetical order is really inconvenient !!

I’m looking to use some dynamic permalink like the default permalink feature in WordPress.
I know that this can be edited using the settings feature of wp download manager however what i need is to make it dynamic like whenever a user navigates to a package, i want the permalink to be: domain.tld/WPDM-Category-URL-Base/Category/Package-Name instead of the static value such as domain.tld/download/Package-Name

Im become very frustrated to see thatthere are difficoult make all simple task.
PLugin seem good but documentation is very bad.
In home there are many features. in documentation there are nothing to explain how to use…1) How to installa translations
2) How to set atchive page
3) Single download links not work, show me a blank page, when i add a new download file/pacakge and i go to page with “View package” i seen a blank page…in free version work all good…Please answser me, or i think i better have money back.

Just bought the pro version… my task is this:
One single page is to contain links to two downloads.
The first download is a blackberry app. The other download is an android app.
I’d like to password protect the page itself, so once they are authenticated and get to the page, they can download either app without having to re-enter a password.
Having said that the downloadable apps, if they were to be browsed to with the direct url, the user would be redirected to the login page.I’m not understanding how I would do this. Could you help? Thanks.

So, we have have download packages, and the content of the packages and the links are translated using WPML. However, the actual template components like the “Download” buttons, and the headings of the columns (e.g., File, and Action) don’t seem to be translatable.
Is the a way that this can be done?
I’m trying to upload several dozen PDF’s. They upload successfully but I can’t put a password on them or change the page or link templates. If I format the templates and set the password and download restrictions then upload all of the PDF’s all of the package settings reset and it goes back to default with an MP3 View Link and an AudioPack Page. Am I missing a setting that I should be changing?

So, it looks like the category access roles take over the package settings, which in my opinion should not happen.
Examples:
1. If we have a category with roles ‘all visitors’ and inside we have private packages for “subscribers” only, then all the packages are listed, but the login form inside the private package is not shown, instead only the download link is hidden.
2. If we have a category with role “subscribers” only and inside we have public packages for “All Visitors”, those packages are not even listed.In my opinion, in ACL concept, the privileges should be applied to the end units and override the wider permissions.
Ex 1. The packages with less permissions should override the parent (category) permissions.
Ex 2. is fine, since the category has less privileges than the packages and the packages are supposed to be hidden.Thanks

This is working fine in our server. If you try to download a password protected package via link (/?wpdmdl=xxx) it doesn’t download actual package but download text file which contents
Download link is expired or not valid. Please get new download link.If you get problem now, Would you please give us temporary wp-admin access via a private reply? We need to check it.That is not possible for now, as after user enters their email address wpdm pro generate a temporary download link for him and mail it. So he he just come to page url the download link will be lost, But it can be achieved through some customization.
