Hi,
I have a problem downloading an item.I made a download and put the file from google drive link. when I click on download I get this message:
You do not have permission to download this file
Hello,
We are using WordPress version 5.5.3
Our Download Manager add-on is at version 5.2.4We are using the following Page Template for a package:
<div class=”thumbnail”>
<div class=”media”>
[icon]
<div class=”media-body”>
[page_link]<br />
Released: [create_date]<br />
Updated: [update_date]<br />
Downloads: [download_count]<br />
[download_link]
</div>
</div>
</div>The download link looks like this:
https://enea-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/mitu_enea_se/EecFQ1jNfzpNhqccLJPFeXoByt17m5BBmIPwcq7e1Lp9Ug?e=j4QRZR
and clicking on it does NOTHING.While using an older version of the WPDM, the download link looked like this, and the download worked:
https://enea-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/mitu_enea_se/Ea3uhf2237ZEijRFMw0JyxgBMZMW2GV-o3x6CuxaHkCKoA?e=UcqRL8We noticed that when using the [file_list] along with Single File Download attribute Enabled, the Download link/button looks OK and it works.
How can we make the download link work again?
Thank you,
Mihai NituOn this site we use download buttons to open the Page Template for the downloads:
https://knestel.megawork.de/loesungen/leistungselektronik/doppelfrequenzumrichter/
(Use this password to see the page: Kn3s7el!112020)Since we installed the PRO Version of your plugin it randomly adds something to the urls when clicking download instead of opening the file. The url then looks like this and instead of downloading we get a critical wordpress error:
https://knestel.megawork.de/download/doppelfrequenzumrichter/?wpdmdl=8666&refresh=600e7dc6a6fa41611562438It seems like this is reserved to people clicking the link for the first time. When you go back after you got the error page and try again, the link opens correctly. Do you have a solution for this?
We are getting an issue with the WP Download Manager Pro plugin.
We have set up the packages and files to download on the page here:
https://omegatmm.com/download/publicIt’s showing a list of all the files that can be downloaded. The files should be displayed in a pop-up when clicking on the Download button.
However, sometimes it works and sometimes we can’t see the files in the pop-up.
Also, we have used a dropbox addon for this.
Can you please let us know how to fix this issue?
I have an audio playlist here: https://sublimearchives.com/download/13-fluid-ounces/
I am using the following page template: Single Column Extended Playlist
I am using the following Link Template: With Audio PreviewWhy isn’t there any audio player? This happens on any WP default theme as well so it is not theme related.
Topic: Passwords not working
For some reason, there is no prompt for the password I have set either against the package or the download itself. The page shows as ‘password protected’ and there’s definitely also a password for the file. Any ideas why this would be?
I’ll post the link privately below.Hello,
I am searching some help, please, because in my website I created 5 download packages, published them. But when consulting any of them, there are (at bottom page), unwanted links between those packages.
However, I definitely do not want to create any link between those 5 download pages.I’ve read some topics on this issue but could not fix anything. I use a modified template, on which I added this CSS content :
.pagination-single.section-inner.only-one.only-prev {
display: none;
}.postnav.left, .postnav.right {
display: none;
}But it does not help.
Does anyone know how to hide those links, please ?
Thanks in advance.Hi, for the Advanced access control shortcode this format is not working for me:
[wpdm_my_downloads login=1 template=”link-template-calltoaction3″ cols=”4″]
I wanted to use the call to action template “link-template-calltoaction3” but it’s not showing at all, am I formatting this incorrectly?
Thank you for your help
Topic: Open downloads in new tab
Hi.
I need the downloads to open in a new tab. I purchased the PRO version therefor.
But I cant’t get it to work anyways. I cloned an existing Page template and tried to add link_target=_blank in various ways and positions.
Please tell me exactly where and how i need to add it in the code below to make it work!
<li class=”list-group-item d-flex justify-content-between align-items-center”>
[download_link_extended]It is highly unprofessional in web standards to open downloads in the same window. So I really do not understand why it is so complicated! I get you want people to buy PRO, fine but then make it easily accesible for those at least!
