    Hi,

Sorry for having patience, you just have to put the below code,

    "searchPlaceholder": "<?php _e("Search here...:",'download-manager'); ?>",

in tpls\wpdm-all-downloads.php in download-manager folder line number between 47-48

For the next update, if you don’t want to lose it, please follow this doc for saving it in your theme,

    https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/.

    Hi,

You can also follow these steps for updating plugin,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.

To enable the auto-update, login to your WPDM account from the Downloads > Settings > License tab. If login is successful and you have an active subscription then you can update the future releases right from your plugins page.

    Thanks.

I am getting an error whenever I go to Asset Manager. Looks like there is an update so I went to update the plugin. Every time I do, I get “update package not available”. I go to the plugins page to update there and it says that the plugin isn’t available. Is there a way to update that won’t cause me to lose all of my downloads and settings?

    Hi,

Template tag with [thumb] is working fine. But, custom height and width like [thumb_WxH] is not working. I have seen that you are using an old version of WPDM, can you try to update it to the latest version.

To enable the auto-update, login to your WPDM account from theDownloads > Settings > License tab. If login is successful and you have an active subscription then you can update the future releases right from your plugins page.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Have you created them from Downloads > Templates admin panel or they were manually created from scratch?

    Hello, we have two problems.

Before we had the problem when the item included a few links to download. When the customer click on the menu with the list of the downloads a webpage is stuck. And customer had to refresh the browser. Anyway he can not download the purchased item.
Ok, your support recommended change from Bootstrap 4 to Bootstrap 3. Good, seems it worked and all was fine before we get another problem.
We had this problem – https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/not-display-items-in-purchase-menu/
Ok, support change from Bootstrap 3 to Bootstrap 4 and now we have first problem again.

Can you help us to fix the problem with 1 problem? or it can be solution to fix both problems?

    Best
    Fred

Hi there, yes, responsive is not the problem, if you just make the browser small or use a normal mobile browser.
You have to go to the facebook app (on the smartphone), then try to download something inside of the facebook app (and its own IN-APP browser). Shared Links are opened in an own browser e.g. facebook or other apps. You can only check it directly in those apps, not with a testing tool for responsiveness.

Please have a look at that, because this is a very urgent issue, as you can not make advertisements via social media, if the downloads not working within social networks when using the apps.

    thanks

So is it not possible to use Bootstrap3 ? as I really prefer how all the fonts and buttons looks. When you switch to Bootstrap4 the text on the Downloads-FreeAsset tabl for all of the packages overlapping the thumbnail image, that is the reason I disabled it.

We are using a combination of WPDM Pro, FileCart and Form Lock Addon.

If you try to download something from the website which is opened in the in app browser, you get https://www.dropbox.com/s/58g1zexlkqe61mj/Fehler_Download%20mobil-1.jpg?dl=0 those errors or the website doesn’t even load and you get a “Please check you internet connection” error.

Any Idea how to solve it?

The worst solution would be, to disable all downloads on mobile – but how does that work?

    Thanks and best regards

Email Lock is great, however, it is nice to have capabilities to capture more information from users with a form and have that response be sent to marketing departments etc.

The Form lock is ok, however, it does not prevent email spoofing like email lock. I would like the Form lock to be able to send out the unlock link to the users email just like the email lock. Only after the user clicks the link in email will they get the download unlocked.

I would also like Form locks to work properly so that they can be triggered for every additional download. Currently the setting “Show form everytime” does not seem to work properly. After the first form submission, all subsequent downloads are unlocked already without additional forms required?

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hi!

I am building a grid of downloads using a featured image and title / download link.

    My shortcode is…
    [wpdm_category id="brochures" title="Brochures & Flooring Guides" template="5eb2d25e265b5" order_by="title" order="asc" cols=3 colspad=2 colsphone=1 download_link=1]

    My custom template is…

    <div class="knowledge-base-download"><a href="[download_url]">[thumb_200x200]
    <b><a href="[download_url]" class="knowledge-base-download-heading" style="text-decoration: none;">[title]</b></div>

    Two problems…

  • The first element after the wpdm_category shortcode is affected by this code. It looks like it’s throwing everything into a strange column layout, so I’m guessing it’s something to do with the columns.
  • Second, less critical problem, is that the title doesn’t appear. Any obvious issues? I don’t mind adding this manually, but while I’m here 🙂

Any ideas or fixes would be massively appreciated.

    Thanks so much in advance!

Hi Nayeem! Thanks for your super fast response! 🙂

I suppose that this wpdm_direct_link code should be used instead my [download_link] parameter on link template, isn´t it?

[wpdm_direct_link id="Package ID" target="_blank" label="Download Me!" class="css class names" eid="element-id"]

But, in this case, what should i put on “id” parameter? I want to show a file directory as you can see on my private link.

[wpdm_category id="liga-golf," cols="1" toolbar=0 item_per_page=10 template="5ea99dbc8be8b"]

This is the code that i´m using to show my template on that test page. There is any way to use direct downloads with “wpdm_category” code?

On another project, i used your plugin and it let me do that using a “wpdm-all-packages” code like that:

[wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="20" categories="golf-documentos" jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title|download_link" colheads="Título|Descarga"]

But i have no way to replicate it now. On that project i was using an older an free version of your plugin. Right now i´m using your Pro latest version.

As you can see, i have a little mess, this is the first time with your pro version, i hope to solve it soon 🙂

Thanks again!

Hi,
wp_downloads is not a download manager table, download manager packages are custom post type and stores in posts table. Please check from Admin Menu Downloads, if you are seeing all of your downloads there.
