Hello,
Please follow these steps for updating the add on for now,
1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.
To enable the auto-update, login to your WPDM account from the Downloads > Settings > License
tab. If login is successful and you have an active subscription then you can update the future releases right from your plugins page.
Thanks.
As the documentation say: show total downloads of a package.
I need the total number of downloads of all the packages. Can you help me in this?
I want to specify that I am not a php programmer

Hello. No, I haven’t actually solved the problem. I just closed the ticket because it was incorrectly expressed. I have opened another which has the same content. Yes, I need to be able to have a shorcode or a template that shows me the total number of downloads made by my site.
Hello.
Is there anyone among you who can help me? I would like to know how many downloads have been made from my site, in general, and not specifically by individual package or by user. Many thanks to anyone who can or will do it.
Hi,
thx for help…..reading this manual helped out: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/
I just did the following change:
old code:
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]
new code:
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" cols="page_link,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]
Thank you very much for assising me. I gave a good vote for your plugin at wordpress.org!
Greetings,
Andreas
HI,
i created a page for all downloads using this code:
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]
Having a strange issue. I have pages setup to call categories of downloads. These pages load up fine, they load up the list of files. Everything looks as expected.
However, any click on the download button causes a black page:
https://rivetedstudios.com/downloads-collections/
Any suggestions on where to start looking?
Plugins have been disabled and re-enabled individually and all possible. Changed numerous settings but I feel like I am blindly going through settings without making progress.
Any direction would be great.
Thanks!

Please give your page URL. When a user creates a package in the front end, it is also created in the backend Downloads > All packages section, and all values are saved with the related package. when you will create it from research fields, it will be saved in the research fields section. do you want a relation between frontend tags and research fields, like when user update package via frontend, it will also be saved in the research fields section? let me know.
Thanks.

So i Just purchased the PRO version and followed your steps. It was installed and activated and shows on my plug in list. There is NOTHING on my WP dashboard. Your STEP #3 Go to Admin Menu ► Downloads Settings ► Private Messages Tab to configure the plugin:
Does not exist. Nothing was added to the dashboard as with all other plug ins, So where are these DOWNLOAD SETTINGS?

I am using In Private Browser. When I fill out the Form 1 time, all other downloads are unlocked. No subsequent forms are displayed. So this setting seems not to be working.

Hello
I can confirm that everything is fine as it was before. Thank you,
Do you have the possibility to set the visibility of all downloads automatically from public to private or do I have to do it manually?

Thank you
Hello
Thank you for your intervention, but it didn’t have the desired result, on the contrary.
What did you change? Because the result isn’t what I wanted.

You can see in the picture above that the downloads (red) and the articles (green) are still displayed.
The only change is when you click on them. They don’t open anymore, it redirects us to “#”.

I found a trick to put all the download pages on visibility off, I’ll do it manually …
Can you go back to the action done on my site please because she didn’t solve my problem, on the contrary.
Thanks for trying to help me anyway.
