No , issue is with only android…In iphone no issue , only in android it is adding .zip extension to all downloads…
I just bought this to update permissions on all existing downloads. When I add ‘All Visitors’ as an access level and click ‘update all’ it says that it has done it, but nothing changes on the existing posts.
I have disabled all plugins in case of a conflict, made no difference. Posts are not being updated.
Upgraded our plugin to the Pro version 6.0.8 and receiving critical errors. Our downloads are no longer working using Pro version 5.4.1 – just a spinning wheel when we click to download a file – so trying to update the plugin to see if that takes care of the issue.

Can you please explain a bit more what problem you are facing so that you need to check every downloads?
It is not usually necessary to check all downloads because wpdm does not contain such problems. There is no such function to check all downloads. You can create a new package and check that at the same time after creating the package.
If any issue arises, please, provide us necessary details with your temporary wp-admin login details and site URL in a private reply for checking the issue.

After updating to the latest version of Download Manager, it seems the search parameter of our shortcode is no longer functioning (it gives a critical error when used). [wpdm_all_packages]– List all downloads in tabular format on a page, then you can make a backup for this file, adjusting this directory file,plugins\download-manager\src\Package\views\all-packages-shortcode.php. I am in the process of upgrading to the latest version of WPDM Pro and can not find the wpdm-all-downloads.php file, that used to be in the tpls folder. I wish to replace it with my own custom table, as I did in the previous version.
Yes the issue was solved with that parameter, I request then that this parameter be added to the “[wpdm_category] – Query All Downloads From One or More Categories” documentation page before I close this issue as resolved.

Yes it is possible to upload multiple files in a package and you can also enable single download.
I apologize, however, that the table view using wpdm shortcodes will not be like the screenshot.

ThanksI use the “Attach Dir” field quite a bit, and have been having issues with it for quite some time – I cannot update the plugin past 5.4.1 due to the these issues.
I have a test site where I have updated to 6.0.8 – here you can see the issues. When I attach a directory, it does not list/download all of the files that are actually in that directory. Here is one of my downloads: https://wptest.wprnd.net/download-new/testing-jpg-downloads/
If you click the “Download” button (blue one) you will see that it does not download all of the files that are listed in the list.
Also – the list does not include all of the files that are in the directory. There are more PDF files that it is not listing.
Can this be looked into? Thank you.

Using Dwnld Manager Free 5.3.3 on my WordPress Intranet site.
Made files available to all users within the business to download… Recently tried to check downloads on a mobile (via Chrome or Samsung browser) and only certain files download successfully. There doesn’t seem to be any correlation between which work and which don’t and file types.
All files can be downloaded successfully from the desktop (using Chrome).
Are there any known issues of this sort?
Any help would be appreciated 🙂

I understand that, however is there no way to get the form to pop up when I click

Also if it would help I could do a zoom call or any other form of communication as I believe that will be beneficial in resolving this issue as there seems to be some miscommunication.In reply to: Problems with the download page
Thank you, it works now for this document. Unfortunately it still is now for a lot of the other downloads. Do I now have to manually adjust each object individually? Is there no global setting? Why is this all of a sudden? Because some time ago everything worked?

I have narrowed it down to the [download_link] shortcode. If I update that shortcode in my template to [download_link_extended] the form works and downloads correctly, however, I do not want that extended information always showing. I also don’t know how to troubleshoot the [download_link] shortcode.
I tested other templates (yours not custom) and all the ones with [download_link] cause the problem for me.

Plugin is the same version I have installed v3.03 , I reinstalled and the tree shortcode worked, but my original problem is still there, sorting doesn’t work. If I add the shortcode for “top downloads” it sorts alphabetically, then if I change the sort in the toolbar to downloads it gives me “page not found”.

we own a single site license and are running our livewebsite under the linked site domain lets say “xyz.com”.
Currently we are working on a big relaunch under devdomain “xyz.agency.com”.
Question 1:
Is it possible to add the (short-time-period-only-necessary)-devdomain to the linked sites list in the user dashboard somehow?
Or is there any other way to activate the Pro version for development purposes?Question 2:
What would be the best practice for migrating the current data from the live system to the 100% freshly installed empty WP install on the devdomain?
We need to keep all the connections towards categories, tags and users respectively the userroles alive!

Is there no way to 1:1 clone or transfer all the db- and file-data?With the existing import/export functionality we learnt so far, that we may not export as csv from the old system and import excatly that csv file into the new one, since it has a different column structure.

– 160 categories attached
– 50 tags attached
– 5 userroles in use
– 3600 usersAny help and idea on how to make the migration as safe and clean as possible is highly appreciated 🙂
