Hello there,
Please use the updated shortcode and valid parameter from the below documentation page.
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/
I hope your problem will be resolved with the updated shortcode.

Hi.
I have an issue where every PDF or ZIP file downloaded won’t open. Adobe Acrobat states that the PDF is corrupt. How can I fix this?
Hi Nayeem – thanks for your reply.
I have made some progress – the CVS file seems to be working, with the exception of the following:
NB. https://imgbb.com/ doesn’t allow me to upload the CSV File?!

1. Most important: the ‘Download File’ whilst the file is identified on the CSV the problem is to ‘link’ the actual image file. I upload the image file as a ‘bulk import’ (files are in a Folder ‘Downloads Test _ CSV 16_3_22’ in the ‘Digital Assets Manager – download-manager-files’ – but this then alters the Title / Description to change to the file name (with no spaces)?
It also removes the Categories and other settings. It does add an ID.
Please see screenshots:-
a) Screenshot: Downloads Manager – All Packages – the first 4 are incorrect as they are using the image file name!
see: Screenshot: Downloads Manager – Title / Description not correct / https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/download/u12-ya_test_1a_copy-png/
b) Screenshot: Downloads Manager – Download OK
https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/download/practice-skills-x/
This show the Package which is fine except that the image file is not linked – so we get “Sorry! File not found!”
There is no ID? Categories are OK.
2. I would like the CSV to ‘remove’ the (Discussion) ‘Allow Comments’ option.
3. Can the CSV include a ‘Media’ image with the ‘Description’ – see screenshot: Downloads Manager – ‘Media’ Image
https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/download/session-1-skill-practice-game/
I want to know if there’s a way to update a download, I mean: I have the file download001.zip and this file it’s used on more than 40 packages, there’s a way to update that file? so all the 40 packages identify the new file as the file download001.zip? or I need to update manually the 40 packages to point to the new file inclusive if the name it’s the same
Hello Nayeem,
thank you. So it is good.
From my first Post is one thing open.
“– On my Linkpage the Downloads were smaller and smaller. Where can I change it.”
See the first Post please…
Hello CIALGAR,
Hope you are well. For downloads packages, you shall find the information from the Downloads > Stats > Download History section, but for membership, the feature is not available now. I hope you have understood.
Thank you and regards

Unfortunately that solution won’t solve the issue as I will not be able to manually keep a Top Downloads category up to date. I’ll have to find another solution, but if I can propose a feature, adding the order_by functionality to the Carousel shortcode would be amazing since it would solve this dynamically.
Hello,
Sorry to hear about the issue. I am sorry that the carousal shortcode doesn’t support the order_by parameter.
Only wpdm_tree shortcode supports the order_by parameter in the extended shortcode addon.
Instead of using order_by you can manually create a category manually for top downloads. As it supports category parameter. I hope it will solve the issue.
WPDM Extended Short-codes
Thanks
Hello,
Thanks for providing details.
There are 3 ways to include search functions with wpdm packages and shortcode.
1. You can enable search function using shortcode [wpdm_search_result] mentioned for download packages (named as folder in your website)
2. You can enable “Enable Search in File List” from settings > frontend access (you have already enabled it) but there should be more than 30 files.
3. There is another type of search function like the first one using the shortcode below:
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/
Thanks

Hello,
Sorry for the delay because of the weekend.
However I found that you used this shortcode.
[wpdm_all_packages login=1 items_per_page="20" order_by="title" order="ASC" cols="title|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Titolo|Categoria|Aggiornato Il|"]
In this shortcode just remove the parameter login=1 to show downloads without login.
However, the cache plugin was causing the issue. I have deactivated that, it fixed the issue with a new subscriber role I created.. In this case, it would be appropriate to make an exception for the wpdm page of the cache plugin or disable/change the cache plugin to recheck the issue.
Thanks
Hello,
Hope you are well.
Here the website you shared, he uploaded all the files in a download package then the filelist has made the downloads list. But I am sorry there is no way to edit file list without editing the core files of wpdm.
You can also check our shortcodes and link templates for the related lists.

Thanks
Hello @Paolo,
Hope you are well.
Got the issue.
Actually the my downloads menu is showed if the downloads are shared only to that specific user.
To select specific user for downloads you have to use the below addon with wpdm:
Advanced Access Control
However, to enable the purchase option for wpdm to make it digital marketplace, you have to use the below plugin with wpdm:
Premium Packages – Sell Digital Products Securely
You can also check our special discounted pack to use wpdm with 15+ addons including the advanced access control:
WordPress Download Manager Special Pack
Thanks
It appears to be working now. I’m unsure of the issue that was causing the problem. However, when I bulk import, it creates the preview image in my media gallery each time. I’m going to be uploading a lot of downloads that will use the same image and I don’t want it creating multiple versions in my media gallery. Do you know how to get around that?
I’m also using custom page templates. In the CSV I’m using the page template ID with the “.php” at the end (as the example shows), but after importing, those page templates don’t seem to be pulling correctly. When I click on one of my downloads, instead of showing the content in my page template, it is just showing my template name “dbr-multiple-files.php” in the body of the download page. For example: the last 2 posts on this page titled with “test”: https://dbr2.flywheelsites.com/resources/
Hey,
maybe this intro to archive templates helps you as well: https://oxygenbuilder.com/documentation/templating/singular-and-archive/
What I am trying to archive is to setup a ctegory archive template for all WPDM taxonomies. I would need to have a function to render all downloads on this archive.
Best regards
Hi,
I use Oxygen Builder and have been building a category template.
Could you please provide the php or shortcode to add to the archive template to display all downloads within their category?
Best
Hello,
Actually for free version of wpdm it is set in this way.
However, I have changed the logic for downloads tags from your child theme custom wpdm archive templates.
You are now getting the downloads tags.
Thanks
The page that hosts all the download links is only accessible to admins of the site. Normal users are asked to login, but when they do the page refreshes and still asks them to login in an endless loop. However, as far as wordpress is concerned, the user is actually “logged in” their account on the first try, but WPDM doesn’t register it as such. I don’t know when this problem started, but it should be quite recent and there have been no changes to the site. What could cause this problem? When an admin logins, the page works correctly (refreshes and lists all the downloads).

Hi, i am currently building a music store website with your plugin. All are fine. But i want to intergrate an audio player to play my files inside website.
Is there any method do it without or with a simple plugin or coding.
I’ve successfully upgraded to V 3.4.7 but the main issue remains. I assign all levels and see downloads, but when I log out and login I am no longer able to access downloads. All levels appear to be removed during logout.

Hello Natalie,
This is a tag-importer plugin. After installing the plugin you shall get an option from
Downloads > Settings > Migrate Tags
please check and let me know after taking essential steps, and if it is working properly now.
