To change the label and placeholder text, you’ll need to modify them directly in the plugin’s code file.
I have used this CSS in my themes Additional CSS section and now the modal appearing like this

WordPress Download Manager automatically renames uploaded files to prevent duplication and enhance security, if File Already Exists is set to Rename New File. You can use this setting to prevent the file from being renamed.
