Similar Downloads string is missing in the translation file. We will fix this in the next update.

It’s coming form the shortcodes not templates.
However, you can also apply this CSS in your theme’s additional CSS section

.pagination.wpdm-pagination.pagination-centered.text-center {
  display: none;
}

Inside the shortcode, like this
[wpdm_category id="" cols="1" template="" paging="0" toolbar="0"]

Kindly try applying paging="0" inside the shortcodes.
