Because When I try to make a order, I find the order and payment successful with completed status. Expiration date is related to order completion. It is okay from my side too.

If you upload the same file multiple times, you can set the option to overwrite old file to avoid the renaming ( Basic Upload Settings panel ). I see you have already set the option. So the file with same title uploaded to wpdm directory will be replaced. I checked that.
Setting the option to overwrite will solve this issue for future uploads although I am sorry that you have to delete the already created duplicate files and remove those manually from package attached files metabox.

Sorry to hear about the issues.

1. You can install pdf viewer from
Downloads > settings > Updates option from your WordPress dashboard. If you can’t update it directry from WordPress dashboard, Please update from here.Here is the url of the addon
2. To set preview image for each download you have to set featured image for package and then [thumb_widthxheight] in link template or page template to show preview image in the list.
To set preview image for category, you have to set image for each category from Downloads>Categories option.
Then you have to use this shortcode with title=1 parameter and id='' parameter

3. I have just tested this issue and I think it is a bug. I will forward the issue to the developer team. In the meantime you can add template parameter in shortcode to use template.

Also, you can do it from Dashboard>Downloads>Asset Manager like this.

Let me explain more details:
#1. You can create multiple directories in wpdm upload directory.
#2. You can upload files to that folder using FTP or any other way
#3. Any change in the folder also will be updated in the package automatically
#4. This means when you add a file to that folder, the front-end user who has access to the package will get the file automatically, you don’t need to edit/update the package.
#5. The special pack has an add-on ( Advanced Access Control ) to help you to assign a package to specific users on need.
Also we have a free addon for REST API. You can check that too.

Make sure that WPDM and all add-ons you are using of WPDM are in the latest version.
Current version of WPDM is 6.0.8
Current version of Wpdm directory (Archive Page) is 3.2.1
If you can’t update it directry from WordPress dashboard, Please update from here.

The default viewer with WordPress Download Manager Pro usage google doc viewer which only can preview public PDF documents. But you may use this viewer to show protect/members-only documents too.
To show all the pdf files, you need to use this addon with wpdm:

wpdm_category didn’t use any parameter for private post status.
We have a better addon to select users specifically.

Sorry for any misunderstanding. I have just checked that order. Manually made the order status from processing to completed. Didn’t found anything wrong there.
During the order process, there could have been a problem from customer side that made the order incomplete.
But I am not facing any similar issue while creating any orders. Maybe I missed something.
However, Please make a screen record with the issue if you still face that using tool like this. It will help me to get it clearly.

I have just tried to check the issue and found everything alright.
I tried with paypal sandbox test account and test debit card added there. Found that making paypal payment is making the order completed as soon as possible. Also the order is also completed from admin dashboard.

Thanks for sending the video recording.
Got the issue.
The issue is that “Allow access” is being handled by WPDM main plugin as well as the wpdm_category shortcode.
But the select member option is being handled by wpdm advanced access control addon. It directly handles the package.
In example, If you select allow access for subscribers and select a member who is not a subscriber, then shortcode will show the category to subscribers. But if he try to view the package by clicking, package will show him access restricted by hiding all information about the package.
I would suggest you to set different categories for different access role and allow access for those categories. It will solve your issue I think.

Glad to hear the problem is solved.
I recommend you search for your e-mail/username and do not change the user role for it while editing the database file in notepad ++.
So be careful for your username/email and keep that as it was. It will fix the issue.

Sorry for this inconvenience. I just tested it with the latest versions and it is working fine. Downloads are only accessed by selected users even if allow access field is empty.

and advanced access control to the latest version 3.2.1
