please follow these steps for updating the plugin if you are facing any problem,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download the latest version from here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases and install the latest version
3 ) Put your license key and activate the license key

You should follow two hierarchy like,

and Package Access = Package Access empty + Category Access(Subscribers) = Subscribers

or Package Access = Package Access(subscriber) + Category Access(Subscribers) = Subscribers

I have checked your issue. I have also tried making a combination of style/scripts from Downloads > Settings > User Interface. But it is not working. But tab is working after switching the theme like I have switched the theme to Attire, then it is working. I think the tab menu is conflicting anywhere within Divi. let me know. there can be a theme option too for the DIVI theme.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It’s just a CSS issue, that’s bothering you. but it has been resolved, you should make sure that after any CSS making the change you should clear the browser cache or page cache value. I have tried it but seems that working fine from my side. it is also working as first and second one should work. I can also make a video for you that, it is working from my side. thank’s for your understanding.

Category access for roles and packages follow these steps as I describe below,

before giving access to a certain category for a particular role you have to set like as I image attached, you should use Use Link Template option and your particular role,

then you have to make empty forAllow Access option or giving a particular role on it like as I image attached,

because Package Access = Package Access + All Category Access = All Visitors + Subscribers = All Visitors

and Package Access = Package Access empty + Category Access(Subscribers) = Subscribers

or Package Access = Package Access(subscriber) + Category Access(Subscribers) = Subscribers

It will export the XML file. But you can also export the packages using feature of WPDM. There are options available JSON, XML, and CSV. you can use any of them.

I have checked that the search filter resides within the page template/single download file and not in the sidebar of your page referred. and it is working fine from here. can you clear the browser cache or enable/disable style/scripts from Downloads > Settings > User Interface for checking.

For the frontend, you can easily edit it from

download-manager\tpls\wpdm-add-new-file-front.php file and the text as your own requirements.

As documentation, you have to copy the file in the theme directory naming a folder called download-manager, then paste it in the folder naming wpdm-add-new-file-front.php and edit the text as your requirements. let me know. if it helps you.

It can be happened restricting role access from the package settings Allow Access option. and also can be due to the js cache. Please try clearing the cache. Alternatively, in the latest update 3.1.02, we have added an option to unmask the download link, that option will resolve the issue regardless of the js cache.

You can also follow the same procedure as I described here for allowing category for certain roles.
