For #Problem1

I think the issue is appearing because there are different language packages created, so the WPML does not translating for every different language.

And for #Problem2
We have not direct shortcode like this. For now we can’t give an elaborate solution for code, but you can use this update_post_meta(get_the_ID(),'_wp_page_template','page-name.php'); you may need to implement it elaborately for all packages/files. However, we will be happy if you return to our PRO member club. Please kindly check.

I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. You can disable one by one other plugins for testing if there any conflicts. You may also switch theme to another for checking. If you permit me I can also check. Please kindly check.
