This issue creating from new package too, https://www.peprimary.co.uk/index.php/wpdm-package/wpdm-test/, however, it is not creating from our test site also other users not reporting this. I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. You can disable one by one other plugins for testing if there any conflicts. you may also switch theme to another for checking. Please kindly check and let me know , if you permit I can also check this process.

Please make a file naming, taxonomy-wpdmtag.php. Then simply put it in your active theme folder, wp-content/themes/your-theme-name this directory or folder. It will render the tag detail page of WPDM. Please kindly let me know if you have more confusion.
