Hope you are well. And sorry for the inconvenience. The issue. On line 630, the code uses PHP 8.0+ union type syntax:
public function enableProtection(int $mediaId, array $options = []): bool|array `
The bool|array return type declaration uses the | union type operator, which is not supported in PHP 7.x. This
causes the syntax error you’re seeing.
This same pattern appears in another method as well – line 673:
public function disableProtection(int $mediaId): bool|array `
To fix this, Please Upgrade to PHP 8.0+ (recommended, as WordPress recommends PHP 8.0+ anyway)

You can switch theme for a moment for checking if the theme is conflicting with admin UI, please kindly clear your site cache, you can also check browser console log if any message is coming while visting admin pages of WPDM, please also check the plugins conflict if it is happening from there. And URL parameter changes to wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wpdmpro&page=wpdm-settings&tab=wpdmui, while visiting User Interace. Please kindly check and let me know.

I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. You can disable one by one other plugins for testing if there any conflicts. you may also switch theme to another for checking. if possible, please, give your temporary wp-admin login details in a private reply for checking the issue.
