According to the latest update of WPDM PRO, you also need to update the other add-ons specially WPDM - Form Lock as well. Please update WPDM - Form Lock, or you can download them from here.

The default doc preview uses a remote service where the logged-in user session is not known that’s why it shows such an error.

However, the doc_preview shortcode is related to the WordPress PDF Viewer add-on.
Please download and install it which should resolve your issue.
