But, it is rendering on the browser after download as you attached the file as URL from the media library.
If you want to force download, please always attach the file using the server file browser or upload directly using wpdm.

Okay now, it was happening due to, any of your active plugins messing up inline js code. I’ve adjusted some wpdm template files to bypass the conflict.
#1. Please use a different email template for now. There are better email templates included with wpdm

Okay now, amazon s3 is working fine. The issue was due to a conflict with WPDMPP - Coinbase Commerce ( Guzzlehttp version ). We shall update WPDMPP - Coinbase Commerce soon to resolve the conflict. For now I’ve disabled Coinbase, as you are not actively using it :).

The default viewer is using google doc viewer, where we don’t have much control over. Successful view of a PDF will depend on the response time of your server on google doc viewer’s request. However, a simple fix is, if your pdfs are public, don’t need to be protected, you may add them from the media library or using any cloud service like Dropbox or amazon s3. Or as you know, you may use our custom pdf viewer:

you are facing the issue, as OpenSSL extension is not active.
How to enable the ext:
- Open php.ini file located under php installation folder.
- Search for extension=php_openssl.dll.
- Uncomment it by removing the semi-colon(;) in front of it.
- Restart the Apache Server.

Also, for remote URL it will never show Download error file not found!, as wpdm simply direct for remote URL, don’t check file exists or not.
@inbloomdigital, sorry for the confusion, probably the last reply was not elaborate enough. You may keep using it in your dev site for 15 days, however, even if you activate/use the license in your dev site, it is not a problem, you can unlink the dev site from your order details page here and use the license key in your production site when you move your site to the production server.

The word Search... is already available in download-manager.po, you should be able to translate it by creating a language file manually or using any translation plugin.
Related downloads are generated based on matching categories or tags. If no match found, it shows No related download found!
WPDM doesn’t set featured images automatically from the pdf thumb. It will require code customization.
