something is missing in your database! send a temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com, support team will check and update the db table structure for your manually.
please unzip it first, you will see 3 packages there. install v3.3.5.rc1. please delete free version first if already installed.
install other add-ons from here, http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/add-ons/ for copy data from free to pro, tinymce button, download button image …
@trickz100, yes, there was an issue, anyhow that is fixed and updated copy uploaded now, please download the add-on again and install it. It will work fine now
1) install and activate image button add-on.
2) go to admin menu Downloads Settings Buttons Tab
3) Select (just click) a button image
4) or upload your own image and select
5) Save Changes
That’s all. All of your download link should show with that image.
anyhow next update of wpdm pro will have new option to use image directly with download_link tag like this:
[download_link image-url-here]
but if you feel that complex, please contact live support or mail wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com. btw, please make /download-manager/functions.php writable before send the info
if you see 404 error please open functions.php , searh and remove “flush_rewrite_rules();” and now go to admin menu settings permalink update permalink structure. that will resolve your issue.
1) you can remove those extra tags from /download-manager/templates/page-template-default.php
2) yes, icon can’t be linked that way
3) actually you don’t need to un-select it, you simply can remove [icon] tag from link template
