You can disable bootstrap from download manager settings page, but some link/page template with wpdm make not looks nice after that, but you can adjust them using custom css or custom template.

1. Purchases link will be gone if you deactivate or delete “Premium Package” add-on.

I found the conflict is between “WPML” and “WordPress SEO” plugin, “WPDM” has nothing to do with this. When “WPML” is active, wp seo triggering a js error:

To open in browser window rather then download, you need to check “Open in Browser” option in download manager settings.
