The “Download File” link is coming due to audio tag conflict with other plugin, however, you can resolve it selecting other page template like: Single Column, Image Top, Extended and disabling Single File Download:

in that case, it is something related with your server. plugin through zlib error, when ZipArchive class not found, please contact your server support. zip installation reference http://www.php.net/manual/en/zip.installation.php
It only will happen if you trying to upload invalid/unsafe file types or larger file than allowed size. May you please give me the login and and the file you are trying with.

From that page users only will be able to download files they purchased, if you are selling digital products, install following add-on ( free ):

It is possible with download manager, we are using only our plugin and add-ons. Please follow the installation steps from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/installing-wordpress-download-manager-pro/ , then follow the rest of the docs to understand other features.
that should work fine, we didn’t change anything around the feature, but probably something like file permission is changed in your server, still, you just need to copy/paste those files in /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/ dir to make downloads work
May you please contact with your server support, I’m exactly not very sure about that server option.
Thanks for pointing the issue.
But the exception part is due to something wrong with imagick library installation in your server, you may try remove and reinstalling library or please contact server support.
